First visit lunch for two and chose the set menu of three courses for £20.50. Such amazing quality and value for money. The dessert choices included a 'mini' brownie which was what a normal sized portion would be elsewhere and included a coffee of your choice. We didn't need to eat again that day! Highly recommended and will definitely dine here next time.

It was a lovely warm day, for a change, so we decided to visit Cockington where we haven't been for sometime. We decided to try lunch at the Drum Inn and we are glad we did. The garden area was quite busy so we decided to go inside which was relatively quiet. The decor and furnishings make it feel comfortable. The service was excellent. I had the fish finger sandwich which in fact are fish goujons. The batter was light and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife had the vegetarian wrap with triple cooked chips, again a success. Definitely will return.

Love Vintage inns and visit many, often, but tonight's experience has probably topped them all - primarily down to our server, Sarah, who couldnt have been more perfect than she was with her service - it pays to have staff that can not only string a sentence together but who also love what they do - which was clear to see from this young lady this evening. This, coupled with delicious food in a pleasant surrounding will ensure we will be back again very soon!

Relatively easy parking. Comfortable seating. Dog friendly. Extensive menu . Revisited twice last week (September) and it was fantastic. Really good food, very welcoming staff, still dog friendly and even a menu for them. Very highly recommended.

We have eaten here 3 times in 1 week on our stay in the beautiful area of Cockington. The staff are lovely, the building and atmosphere are great. Toilet facilities clean. The food was delicious, on one of our visits the food was not as great as the other 2 visits! I'm not too sure why. This didn't stop us from returning.

Historic family-friendly pub in the picture postcard setting of Cockington village. Spacious beer garden makes it a prime spot for sunny, summer days.

Excellent food at a very lovely pub. We had fish and chips and a few drinks. All family enjoyed the historic Cockington views. Very friendly staff. One of the best Fish & chips I had for many many years.

The atmosphere and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, well presented and an ample amount. Despite the place being busy there wasn’t a long wait until the food arrived. We didn’t have a dog but it was great to see they are welcome and well catered for.
