Had a lovely chicken 🍗 dinner. We hadn't booked and got a table straight away. No waiting for food or drink would recommend. 2 courses after 5pm £11.99 well worth it
Went here for a birthday meal for a family member with all my family. From the minute we entered we were greeted with smiles and politeness. Our table looked out over the harbour and was perfect. Our waiter was called Josh and from the minute he came to us he was polite, friendly and very attentive you our needs. The meal was gorgeous and everything perfectly cooked. None of us could find fault with anything. Josh told us he really enjoys his work and that certainly showed in every way. We have been here several times now and have not had one bad experience so I am very surprised at all the negative comments. Even though it was extremely busy all the staff had smiles and were polite and courteous. We will all recommend it to all our friends and will certainly be eating there again. Came here yesterday for the first time with my other half and our three kids... We loved this place.. Really friendly staff. One who also helped when my youngest had a melt down for no apparent reason making him laugh and smile... Food was absolutely amazing and so tasty and we loved the all you can eat salad bar... Such a nice family friendly place to visit and the added bonus of beautiful sea views. 😁
Fantastic service and food will definitely eat here again on our next trip the waiter couldn’t do enough for us food was served quickly and cooked perfectly and hot
After a very bad experience at Paignton harvester and saying never again we went to torquey tonight and boy what a huge difference and I think you should give your waitress a bonus she was spot on with her service skills nothing was to much trouble and the food very good well done torquey we will be back
Just came back from a fab meal even tho I was unwell. Josh the waiter was brilliant, opened the door and kept me topped up with water while my bf stuffed himself the baileys mudslide sundae (his new fav). Thank u Josh for keeping Steve happy while I was throwing up!! Ps not from the food here!!!
Fabulous.. staff were very efficient.. our food was delivered hot and fast.. will definitely go back... had a taste of my partner's beef dripping sauce that he had with his steak and omg... I've got to have it myself next time.
The harvester was amazing,and the staff was absolutely brilliant,very good customer service so i like to thank you all for a good evening yesterday. I would recommend this to everyone who comes to torquay for their holiday so thank you again xxx

What a place! Superbly helpful staff, wonderful location, well appointed, airy, spacious and a menu that will please all. Located right on the harbor side wheelchair accessible entrance. I was created on my first 'enquiry' visit by a very helpful lady who explained that they were dog friendly but not in the main restaurant. That left the bar, 'cafe' type area and the upstairs terrace. Returned around 5.00 pm on a Friday and took a table on the terrace overlooking the harbour. We were briefed about condiments, cutlery and of course the free salad bar. Order at the bar with table number on a pay as you go basis. Couldn't have been simpler.
Salad bar fresh.and really well stocked with everything you could ask for as well as the numerous sauces and additional sprinkles you didn't know you wanted or even liked. Brilliant. Seated on the terrace (that is not wheelchair accessible) with our drinks and a fresh salad to accompany us, we just sat and appreciated the atmosphere. Other like minded folk were there but it wasn't too busy. Forget whimsically thinking of the Med with its overhyped locations and the Aegean with wannabe yacht captains and crews, this would compete with all of those places and rate very highly indeed.
Food delivered by a pleasant and helpful, patient server and the next phase of enjoyment began. Wonderfully stacked burger and succulent chicken with generous ribs and the best gravy I've had anywhere.
Toilets clean and functional, staff wonderful and on point and message about service and customer care, location fantastic and well within budget for a tremendously enjoyable experience all round. Totally recommend this location.
Food well priced and it was very nice indeed salad bar was great staff are friendly and helpful and smiling we had a lovely time views are nice over looking the harbour
What a lovely, friendly place. Rich, our server, was very accommodating. Polite and very efficient. No request was too much. We will definitely be back!! Bar staff were also very welcoming and friendly!! Family friendly and the menu choices were good!! Food was great!!
We eat in this pub everytime we're in Torquay. They have really upped their game food wise. Both meals perfectly cooked and very tasty. Compliments to Matt who I was told by the waitress is running the kitchen. Keep up the good work.
We really enjoyed our visit. Food was very tasty with good portion sizes. Staff were friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food even though it seemed quite busy. Prices were reasonable.
Great food with prompt service. Managed to go back asecond day didn't book but they fitted us in as my side is disabled. Easy access to disabled toilet too which is always a worry when going to somewhere you don't know. We'll done to all the staff!!!
It was during the summer months, and the atmosphere was very nice. Food was delicious and the service was friendly. Very nice setting for a meal beside the harbour, but it is difficult to park nearby.
I must say this is one of the best harvester restaurants I have visited.
Roof top seating on a fabulous day overlooking the harbour..food was plentiful and served with a smile 😃..
It was my 68th birthday 🎂 and a relaxing way to spend it.
Looking forward to visiting again from our home in Wales..

Lovely meal, excellent service from Mike throughout the evening. This is our second visit here, we ate up top outside in the Summer but inside tonight - both visits were great - we had our cocker spaniel with us in the Summer and all the staff that saw him, made a big fuss. Our server Jo was fantastic. We had 2 young children in our party and she was so kind and patient. It was my daughters birthday and she put a candle in her pudding. My daughter was so happy.
From the moment we walked in we were met with a warm welcome. Our food was absolutely delicious and the service we received from Stefan was wonderful and he is a real credit to Harvester. Thanks Stefan for taking care of us all and making for a fantastic dining experience
Food was great, not rushed. Rich our server was great, told us the sauce for the skewers my wife ordered had sold out. She picked another and 5 minutes into our starter, he came out to say he had found some. Cant ask for more than that. Will recommend and definitely come back soon.
Went here for our 2nd evening while on holiday. The location is great near the marina. Our server Michael was welcoming, friendly nothing to much trouble he was efficient and dedicated.
The salad bar was fresh and tasty and our food was delicious had the chicken stack and 2 courses starter of calamari and half chicken breast for main. Well worth the money.
We have spent an amazing evening in the Torquay harvester. All the staff were amazing and incredibly helpful and understanding of a unusual allergy. We had a great welcome and were served by Sam an excellent member of staff that would be a credit to any team.
Sam along with her colleagues really looked after us and I cant recommend this restaurant enough.
We will be visiting again
I was dragged in here for lunch on a Monday - I have never had a good experience at a Harvester so I wasn't happy... However, the service was superb (Tiff was our server she is a credit to the restaurant) the restaurant and restrooms was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. Will definitely eat here again if we're in the area.
