Been there twice now. Would definately go again. Lovely food. Lovely staff. Every thing great. Im glad im not a vegan. Seems a bit boring when i looked at the menu. I cant say ive tried much of the menu....... i always go back for the great burger� on the down side, im never in time for the carvery. I would love to try that�
Amazing food!! Took my brother here today who was down from London, it was THE best roast I have eaten this year! Star quality with professional staff!! Definitely be going back!

We came for a family carvery on Sunday just gone. We booked a table for 1pm which is a good job we did as it was very busy, but all the staff were very well prepared for this. The carvery itself was lovely the meat was all cooked to perfection and the vegetables were fresh. Will definetly be returning and recommending to other family and friends.

Fantastic place! Great atmosphere and staff. Carvery is good value for money, great quality and fabulous service. Went for the grill night on Friday night excellent food and really good value at 2 meals for £15! The superb views across the downs are an added bonus!
Somebody here knows what they are doing.. Carvery is always difficult to master, however this was really good. As always, the sprouts were a little mushy, but the rest really was spot on. Service was excellent and all the staff friendly and well trained up. Dessert was also excellent..
The dining area was clean and tidy and modern..
This was an excellent quiz night highly recommend was good to see Chris back doing quizes a blast from the past and all my antique friends really enjoyed themselves.. Will definitely come again...A+++ to all staff and teams that did the quiz as all teams were really great on the night.
Had sunday lunch last month never again. They used tin potatoes for roasting, roast onions swiming in liquid, frozen yorkshire pudding.( i'm fussy when it's Sunday lunch but that's me). excellent serving staff. If your looking for an out standing sunday lunch i recomend the balmoral hotel Torquay excellent price for a three course meal, book a table you will not be disappointed.Adrian.

Had a nice carvery here at a reasonable price, The location was good looking out over Babbacome downs, staff very helpful.
Popped in for a Sunday carvery - and it was amazing! I would advise booking because it's very popular, although we didn't and they managed to fit us in
Fantastic food, excellent service. The carvey is a real Sunday treat.
Stopped off during lunchtime for drinks and food. We missed out on the carvery, but the menu had some great food.
Great meal and the staff were very friendly. Couldn't wish for a better view of the Bay!

Pretty good. Beef sandwich would prefer warmed up rather than cold straight from the fridge...just a personal preference
