went in for lunch on Monday at the start of a few days away nacho's and chilli was good for a share at lunch time , also booked to eat on Monday evening good menu friendly staff good service .
Returned Thursday evening ,really enjoyed a pudding of ice cream popcorn toffee sauce and brownie .
I would recommend as good value welcoming staff happy to help with any changes you may require. Enjoyed the atmosphere and lovely views .
Thank you so much for letting us have our baby shower at Pier Point. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had the unicorn cream tea that went down a treat with a few sugar headaches later :) It was very reasonably priced too. Would be very happy to recommend to others and visit again.
We had a lovely Indulgent Tea this afternoon - and it certainly WAS indulgent. The place was beautifully decorated and the staff were excellent, from a lovely warm welcome to great attentive service and even the offer to take a group photo for us. The food was excellent, with the provision of boxes to take home the bits we couldnt quite manage to finish off. Thank you for a great afternoon tea Pier Point.
Fantastic restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff really friendly especially to our children. Two fabulous evenings here. I would really recommend visiting. Thank you.
Fabulous food, Fabulous friendly staff, held a baby shower there for my daughter in law this afternoon, had many meals there never fail to deliver quality, recommend highly 10 stars if I could, thankyou all for a lovely afternoon.
Had an amazing festive tea today with my mum. Great food and fabulous service. We brought most of it home as we couldn’t eat anymore much to my children’s delight. Thank you
Had a fabulous afternoon tea yesterday. Staff were lovely. . We were joking that one of our crackers didn't have a joke so the waiter told us one. Food was delicious . Nothing was too much trouble..will definitely go there again.
We stopped in for our annual New Year's Eve breakfast, and as always it was fantastic. The restaurant isn't over crowded with tables like many places, leaving us plenty of room to get Grandad in with his wheelchair. Eggs were cooked to perfection, regardless of how we asked them to be cooked, poached, scrambled and fried! Staff were friendly as always, and we enjoyed our meal admiring the great views from the wrap round quirky angled windows. Can't wait for our next visit!
My family and I enjoyed an amazing Unicorn themed high tea today to celebrate my sister's birthday Gluten free options were available and we were so impressed with the friendly service and lovely food. The young lady who waited on us (CJ) was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble - we'll definitely be visiting again thank you!
Great food, waitress service with a smile, we both had pizza and it was gorgeous, the menu covered several allergies so that was great
Great discovery. A good fish restaurant right on the seafront. Efficient and fast service with helpful staff. I really like that the menu offers you the chance to support their local charity by ordering an extra portion of "invisible" chips. The money goes straight to the charity. Brilliant idea.
The staff are helpful and polite but no one cleans tables between sittings, yes they are cleared but the table top itself was dirty.
Price wise, it’s higher than you’d expect due to its location, it would be great to put some music on and create an atmosphere, the food was average, a bit like freezer scampi, nice chunky chips.
Outside seating area need condiments, salt, pepper, vinegar, sauces etc. it’s ok to say just ask but you ask and as soon as you say the first item the server has run to fetch it so you’d have to send them back and forth which I’m not mean enough to do.
Clean the tables, put some condiments outside.
First thing to note is we had our meal from the walk-up window and ate it on a bench in front of the water. We had heard from some regulars that it's the same fish served inside but cheaper as you're not eating in the restaurant.
We ordered the mini cod fish (which was surprisingly huge for being 'mini'), the battered tiger prawns, chips, and their homemade tartar sauce.
Everything was AMAZING and so fresh, down to the tartar sauce which I want to see bottled and available at the store 😂
We did love our food here. The service and the quality were very good . The staff members were very attentive.
The fish and chips takeaway from here was excellent. Saw that it’d had got in top 10 UK wide, so had high expectations but it didnt let down. Crispy batter, great chips. Lots of benches for eating it on sea front, would highly recommend!
Just a great restaurant with a fantastic selection of food and drink. Catering for both vegan and carnivor alike. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend.
We went for a late dinner on Monday bank holiday. The staff was really nice and caring. The food is very tasty.
Amazing fish and chips. Staffs were very polite and helpful. They were serving very fast and price was reasonable. Quality of food was very good one of the best fish and chips ever
We wanted a quick coffee so popped in here on the off chance. The coffees were one of best we had tried. In fact we had a quick walk and went back for another. The waiter was friendly and really helpful. Will definitely go back next time we are in the area.
Great location with stunning views! We ate early and had the full choice of menu, the food was delicious and there was a unique choice for vegetarians which was delicious! (Not a mushroom or goats cheese in sight). The chocolate brownie with banana ice cream was perfect. The staff, who were clearly really busy, were lovely. And grate music!
We had the light bite Fish & chips yesterday lunchtime. The fish & chips are definitely the best we have tasted along with the home made mushy peas. We ate inside the restaurant, the decor is very tastefully done with an upmarket feel. All the staff were attentive and courteous. The food was well worthy of all their awards
We had eaten fish and chips earlier from the place next door but as we strolled back to our digs we fancied a drink. From the initial greeter to the service and bar staff we enjoyed a first class experience. You are left to study the menu options and when you are ready you press a pad on the table, the waiting staff take your order which is swiftly delivered. This is a must stop point in Torquay.
We went here as a last minute decision. The staff were really welcoming and allowed us to have a booth.
The food was amazing! We had the fish sharing platter which was clearly fresh from the sea nearby. The curry sauce was sooooo tasty.
Would definitely go back.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience here.
I had a sea bass fillet with Mediterranean vegetables, my wife having pitta bread (also with Mediterranean vegetables) & feta cheese.
We were also lucky enough to enjoy a gorgeous late summer day to accompany it outside, we could have been in Spain or Italy !!
Fairly priced, & excellent service. Highly recommended.
Well what can I say about this place.... 🤔 OMG it's wonderful 😁 the location is absolutely beautiful with great views of The bay, And the Restaurant itself is good looking with loads of seating inside and out. The staff including the Chef's are all very friendly and welcoming. They were very patient and understanding with our 2 Autistic children. 🙂 We travelled to Torquay from the Isle of Wight for a wedding and on our last night while having a nice walk along the Seafront, We came across this beautiful restaurant they were very accommodating of our daughters wheelchair and found us a great table inside next to the window which had great views. The service was top notch and the food itself was well presented, tasted superb (especially the on site homemade chips) and the portions are great sizes. Anyone visiting the area should definitely pop in here. 🙂

Great location on the pier, facing away from the traffic and looking across the water. Plenty of space in the evening, had no trouble getting a table without a reservation. First impressions of the restaurant were that it was very clean, lively music, modern throughout and with an open view into the spotless kitchen, you can be assured your food is being prepared with the utmost hygiene. For anybody bringing dogs, they are allowed, but restricted to the outdoor seating area.
Staff were incredibly welcoming and pleasant unlike some of the other restaurants nearby. Table service is literally at the push of a button once you're ready to order, there's nobody hovering over you while you read the menu.
The food was the best I've eaten during my stay in Torquay. The fish in particular is beautiful, but that's not all that's on offer, with a meat menu, starters, desserts, an array of drinks and cocktails, you really are spoiled for choice.
Price wise, it's comparable with other restaurants in the area, perhaps a little cheaper, but the service and atmosphere are worth it.
Hopefully that helps anyone who is undecided about eating here, and if you need any further convincing, the restaurant also runs a takeaway next door, with an ice cream parlour just around the corner!

I loved their fish and chips. I came for a little holiday from London and I wanted to try some nice fresh fish and chips and this was the place I’d been recommended. The lady at the counter was super nice, we got take away and we sat down infront of the docks. I enjoyed every single bite while watching the boat!
