Had the pre-theatre meal - I chose the brioche as a starter and then chicken in a red wine sauce with lovely choice of vegetables - both were absolutely delicious. Fab food, fab view of the bay - what's not to love

Our first time. We loved it. Food and service was excellent. The only thing that let it down was no gluten free bread was given at the same time as my husbands bread & butter. So just had to sit there and watch him eat it. Gluten free was very easy to see and order. Food was delicious. Just the one minor issue but it did disappoint me

Loved it here! Great atmosphere, attentive service, they have every spirit conceivable, a great wine list and fabulous menu. Had calamari to start, which is amongst the best I’ve had, and an amazing 12oz ribeye steak seared to perfection.

Lovely food and great service. The availability of the lift could have been better signposted downstairs as we struggled upstairs with a buggy, but that's my only quibble. Gorgeous sea views from the windows.

We had a lovely sunday roast, both had beef, it was cooked well & served hot & just as we like it with plenty of veg, just missed some horseradish to accompany it. Service was great- Megan was very attentive & busy! New management & staff have made such a different to the place as we stopped going for 6 months as service & food was so bad - well done!!

A great Sunday lunch! Can’t recommend enough, considering Torquay independents seem to only serve Sunday roast seasonally

We visited on Sunday evening on meeting up with 2 local friends whilst on holiday. Amazing food, served with pride by French chef Kamil and presented with attention to detail. Very reasonably priced and can highly recommend the Soiree 3 course set menu with a Complementary glass of wine, the rose is delicious! we were very well looked after by the young waitress with our drinks and table water. A warm & friendly atmosphere over looking scenic views of the sea and coastline. 5 stars from us!

Hi Guys, If You would like to eat something extremely good food from France 🇫🇷 DO NOT hesitate! Just jump IN and order something. Everything is on the menu unbeatable. The restaurant is perfect for any romantic date or just eat a lunch next to the pier. Anyway, there is a fantastic sea view… 😉 🃏

Very nice sea-front restaurant with a French accent. It's on two levels with indoor and outdoor tables on both. Packed during August, so we booked in advance. The staff are super nice and kind. We loved the food, it was presented well, tasted perfect and served quickly, despite how busy they were. Also, you can see the chefs working hard through a big window to the kitchen.

Went to Bistrot Pierre a few times when in Torquay, first was for a sunset drink with snacks which was lovely - had great views of the bay and a wonderful place to have a sun downer. Then later on in the evening for dessert ; the staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was also good and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and go again when Im in the area. Many Thanks

I recently used this place to celebrate my wedding. When we arrived, the table decorated by the restaurant with a banner saying JUST MARRIED. It was a really nice surprise! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. We had a table with a view to the sea. We had an amazing time spent here and will definitely go back. I can’t recommend it enough! ❤️

Good food and friendly staff. For starters we had the chicken liver pate, onion soup, garlic bread and the mushrooms. For mains - beef bourguignon, salmon and steak. Everything was lovely 😀 We will definitely come again!

Nice big restaurant on the water front, with great views of the sea. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Pre booked a table for a Friday night. Which I advise doing if you want to come here on a weekend. Food was pretty decent and some great choices on the menu. Pork belly was really tender, just found the cracking was only half done though. Would of preferred the whole skin to be done. Calamari was light and nice. Would recommend

Loved this restaurant. Lovely menu and fantastic views across the bay. Even the inside tables have a great view. Lovely staff. Dog friendly too. We had the set menu for lunch, which was great. Not been to one before. Better than the similar red chain by far.

We had an amazing breakfast, veggy breakfast, avocado toast and croissants were all amazing. Although it took a long time for the orders to be prepared and we waited aprox 30 minutes, and the kid got very hangry, it was worth! Has a nice view of torquay beach, location is nice; the interior design and everything is perfect! So yummy!

We went there Saturday lunchtime to celebrate my son passing his BA in music. The view from the table we had by the window was incredible. You couldn't stop looking at it. You had the beach right at your feet with the hills on the left-hand side, and a part of Torquay to your right. Although it was raining the moment was magic. It's not called the English Riviera for nothing. The food was succulent, our steaks perfect. I'd advise anyone to book and enjoy the moment like we did. The restaurant is upstairs but of course you can also eat downstairs but you wouldn't get the view you have upstairs and it takes your breath away. There's no other town as beautiful as Torquay which is very special, Agatha Christie thought so too.

One of my favourite local restaurants. Always great food with sensible pricing. Great position with lovely sea views especially upstairs looking across Torbay and towards Brixham. Very popular so advise booking rather than just turning up although you can be lucky sometimes.

Excellent service, good well cooked food. Only exception was putting salad leaves on a very hot starter plate. Roast pork belly was delicious and the tate au citron very good.
