Good was amazing
Service was super attentive and polite
Prices were very reasonable.
Decor is unexpected but quirky.
They went the extra mile for us and put out some birthday banners.
Lovely place with exceptional food.

Mr Cook was just down the road from where we were staying. It doesn't look particularly special from the outside, but inside it's absolutely wonderful especially if you're of a certain age. Famous film posters and photographs, film memorabilia, and musical instruments on the walls and ceilings. The
Allows dogs inside & outside. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Interesting place to eat. We really enjoyed our meal. Service charge included.
fabulous venue, food was lovely and served quickly, although it was very quiet due to time of year. fabulous decor with Hollywood and music memorabilia, loved it and would definitely recommend.
What a must go to place not only a fantastic stake house but the décor is out standing a real blast back to the past , for all to enjoy, the meal was second to none has to be the best stake house in Torquay, great service, top quality food

First time visiting here. Wow. Popped in on the off chance of getting a table and we were sat down straight away. My wife and I both had the steak diane . We both changed the peas for a bit of side salad which was no problem at all. I've got to say it was one of the best steak meals I've had anywher
This is a must experience. Food and drinks fantastic. Memorabilia is a must see, its simply amazing. Made very welcome and looked after second to none. Blown away by the experience.
Don't be put off by the odd negative reviews by some of the keyboard warriors on here. This place is fantastic... Nothing wrong with the decor and the staff are lovely. Prices are way cheaper than similar places in town. Fantastic food. Great decor. And excellent value for money.

Great meal at Mr Cook! Lovely setting, nice outside area. Our food was cooked to perfection and delicious! My husband had Lamb shish, and it exceeded our expectations! We order delivery's very often. the food is always red hot, need to wait 5 minutes to cool down which is brilliant. Always get all my order. Delivery drivers always so lovely and friendly. Wow!! We tried this place on the off chance and definitely weren't disappointed. Steaks were succulent, starters plentiful and the prices for all were just right. Would definitely come back!!

The interior is a feast for the eyes (in a good way). Lots of old movie memorabilia to look at and test your guests on. Brilliant. Life sized figures are fun and I'm sure are well photographed.

Stopped nearby yo stay, this restaurant was recommended, although a bit pricy we had the most terrific food here. Would definitely come back to Mr cooks. The curry I had was delicious. And open late all week.
Stunning food in a lovely family run setting. Couldn't fault it. Would definately travel a distance to eat there.... Staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
