Gurkhas Inn - Torquay - Photo album

By far the best Nepalese I've ever had! I tried a few new things and was blown away. I really recommend the Pokhareli haans, which was kind of a creamy cold duck salad, almost had a kind of Thai vibe to the flavours, and the choyala, which was an absolutely phenomenonal lamb dish. Seriously good fl
Great place with great food. Had a few dishes and they were all very tasty! Staff were amazing! Chef popped out the kitchen to ensure we were happy with our food which is always a nice touch.
The restaurant's atmosphere was brilliant, and the staff were exceptionally hospitable. The chef's personal attention to our preferences and allergies was a pleasant surprise. The food arrived on time, and it was delicious. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Sabrina (The server) and the chef

Cracking curry here. The vindaloo, madras and patia dishes were lovely , hot and spicy. The chicken was succulent with plenty of sauce. I could go on. Friendly staff. Shared a beer with the chef after. Would definitely come, but we were on holiday and live 100+ miles away! Top ma

Great food (best biryani ever!), but slow service. We were a large group, but the table was booked for 19.30 and didn't get our food until after 2100. Hence the 4 stars. Food definitely 5 star.
