Cosy place with homey food and friendly service. There's a separate gluten free menu and everything else can be modified to suit your allergies. Vegan cream tea and scones are available. Got the carved ham and chips, nothing special. Could use some green on the plate.

Brilliant little place for an afternoon tea. The sandwiches, cakes and scones are amazing with fresh clotted cream and jam. The cakes are soft, moist and delicious! Lovely staff, the ladies were very accommodating. I visited this place after seeing it had brilliant reviews and wasn't disappointed. I would definitely go back.

Nice cozy tea room with a good but limited menu. Allergies, gluten free, diabetic all catered for. Breakfast yummy but all fried and to be honest a little greasy. Limited choice if you want something warm but don't eat meat or cheese. Really helpful staff, man's a bit of a slow coach so if he's there allow a bit of extra time, but again really polite and helpful. I had brunch there 3/3 days I was in that area. Food I thought was slightly over priced but the service was good so I overlooked that part. Would eat there again, believe they are open all year round. Cream tea is a must, homemade scones gorgeous X

Fabulous place to head for if the breakfast at the hotel is just a bit too early! All day breakfast, sandwich's, cream tea or something more filling the food is excellent at any time of the day. Plus if you're heading for the beach they'll make fresh packed lunches for you whilst you wait. The foods excellent, the staff are wonderful all at a price you can't argue with. Check out the fabulous homemade cookies and Maggie's outstanding chocolate milkshake. Brilliant atmosphere and never failed to put a smile on our face, if you can get a seat! Keep up the good work!

First visit , and was greeted with a warm welcome, we both had a full English breakfast and it was fantastic, all freshly cooked . Being dog friendly is great a bowl of water brought straight over , it seems to be a family business. We will definitely will be recommending to our friends who visit .

We've just had one small breakfast with a mug of filter coffee and scrambled eggs with salmon with a pot of tea. Cost just over £12 The food was hot and really good quality. Both of us would score it 10/10 Really friendly service.

We went to the singing kettle for cream teas. We received a very warm welcome and shown to a table. The tea was accompanied by lovely fine bone china cups and saucers. The homemade scones were served warm and were delicious with jam and cream. A lovely treat with lovely service. We would definately recommend.

Lovely homemade scones. Poor bloke serving was run off his feet while the lady sat there having her break but both were lovely. Place was clean and cosy. We had tea, coffee and cream teas .... delish
