Beautiful food and very friendly service. The decor is warm, ethnic and inviting and we felt really relaxed there. Also a very good vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu so thumbs up from me. Will definitely be coming back here again.
Best place in Torbay, food is delicious, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. My favourite place to go! Must recommend the hot meze starter, bits of everything, really good.
Our evening visit to Ephesus was something comparable to exquisite. From the moment I walked in I felt captivated in a Mediterranean dream, beautiful lights and a romantic exotic feel. I felt transported from my holiday in Torquay to a holiday in a warm, cultivating and mystical Turkish treasure cove. The food was outstanding, our mezze to share starter we never wanted to end. The rich and indulgent Greek stifado, I held on to every last bite. Attentively served and looked after by all the staff. The best end to our holiday, my only regret is not visiting sooner so I could of atleast gone more than once!

Great food, plenty of it and it is always the same - that is to say that the standard never varies. To me, it tastes like home cooking and if you haven't tried Turkish/Greek food before then there couldn't be a better place to start. In addition to all this, the staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. We also like that the fact that they have Turkish wine as well as from all the usual places.

Came to your restaurant last night for a 40th birthday party must say I was very impressed with the service, food was delicious, staff all friendly, excellent customer service, highly recommended .
I ate here for the second time last night. The staff are friendly, the decor is really in keeping with the Greek/Turkish theme, there is a great atmosphere and the food is amazing. I particularly like the fact that the tables aren't squashed in like so many restaurants these days. Good quality meat and not a limp salad in sight �

My partner booked this restaurant for my birthday meal. As we arrived we had a warm and friendly welcome and we were seated at a table with birthday decorations which was a very kind gesture from the staff. The atmosphere and ambiance in the restaurant was elegant and romantic. We ordered the meatball parcels and feta and spinach parcels for starters which were both very delicious indeed. We both opted for the same main and of course it arrived with great presentation which made the dish look very appealing and appetising. The meat was cooked to perfection! We literally finished our whole dish. The portion size was spot on. We were full and ended up not ordering desert but the staff were so kind that they sang happy birthday and gave me a desert to mark my birthday. It was really nice and it made our dining experience even more special. Overall it was the best meal in Torquay and we will certainly be visiting again when we return to Devon.
We left the restaurant very happy and most importantly loved the food and hospitality from all the staff including the owner who spoke to us and wished me happy birthday. Honestly if you’re in Torquay and you fancy an authentic Turkish food I would 100 % recommend this place.
I don't believe this restaurant is dog friendly because manager thought about 5 min, whether let in or not. His decision was that you can eat with a dog. Thumbs up for manager. Food was delicious and we enjoyed our dinner a lot.
Ephesus was the perfect choice! Having never tried Turkish food before, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were accommodating and the food was incredible, starter portions were slightly small but the size of the mains more than made up for this!

Staff made the evening, we visited with our one year old daughter, they couldn't do enough for us. So friendly and welcoming.
My only disappointment is that they're 3 hours away for our hometown. I would visit every weekend if I could.

If you are looking for a fantastic meal beautifully cooked, a varied menu, excellent attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere this is the place to go. We had a wonderful meal here, full of well balanced flavour - in fact the best kleftiko I have eaten in the UK or Greece. In our opinion the No 1 restaurant in Torquay. Thanks - we love you guys!!
Stumbled upon this place when our original dinner plans fell through. They managed to squeeze us in and I’m so glad they did! Food was phenomenal and staff even better. Will be recommending to all our friends and certainly visiting again. The dips are 10/10!!

First visit to Ephesus and enjoyed every moment. The food was excellent and service was very good.
When we asked, they pointed out which dishes were not halal. Only two were not halal, so those looking for Turkish Greek halal food in Torquay, this is the place.
Very tasty food and great service by all of the family involved in the restaurant. We went quite early so there were not many other people but was getting busy as we left. Would definitely recommend as the food was delicious.
What can I say, it has been a while but Ephesus never fails to impress. If you are local or just visiting this is a culinary spot you have to visit, arguably one of the best in the bay. You won’t go wrong ordering and the staff are warm and welcoming, the energy in the restaurant does not feel like you are in Torquay. I can not rate Ephesus enough. Oh and they do take out too!
