For a small village cafe, this place ticks all the boxes.
I started going here a couple of years back, just after lock down. I found an amazing array of cakes and delicious cafe food. I believe that most of what is on offer is home made. The cakes are always different and always amazing. Some of the best cheesecake I've tasted has been here.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even if it is really hectic and busy, which it can get. It is very popular.
The views over the river are lovely and in nice weather there is outside seating to enjoy too. Inside you have nice views and loads of local crafts and arty things you can buy as well. It just feels really welcoming. I have spent a fair bit of time sat there "working" on my laptop whilst enjoying a hot drink and some good grub.
It is even dog friendly. So you can take your furry friend along to enjoy the atmosphere too.
I would recommend this place any time. It even has better opening hours than a lot of places in Torpoint.

Delicious Millionaire's brownies from Hearts Kitchen were brought over to the crew of Cornwall Air Ambulance whilst we were attending a patient in the area. Being connoisseurs of the brownie we unanimously voted these the best we've ever had. If you're in the area pop into the cafe and try one for yourself, you definitely won't regret it.

Popped in for a team brekkie and was surprised at how big the place is. Lovely food well cooked and presented. Plenty of choice on the menu. Staff were happy and attentive.
Lovely friendly independent coffee shop. Fabulous cakes, great coffee. Friendly service and relaxed ambience.
I own the opticians on Antony Road, and invariably our patients tell us they're heading off to Hearts after their appointment for a treat, which tells you it's a popular spot!
Quick service and it is actually open and serving food on Monday lunchtime unlike a lot of places! Burger and chips were good, jacket potato was a little soggy. Decent milkshake.
First time here today . Lovely little place with lots of quirky things to look at . Staff was so friendly felt very welcome. Food was really tasty will definitely be returning 😋
Been coming here for the past few years during annual visits to Torpoint. Always quality food, pretty friendly service too. They have an outside area which has a nice view of the Naval base as well as Plymouth (on a clear day). Food is of a reasonable quality for the price point. Recommended for a friendly service with a nice selected menu. Breakfasts aren't particularly large portioned but enjoyable none-the-less.
This place is great, very cosy but excellent outside space downstairs which overlooks the Tamar and is very dog friendly.
