Stopped off for Sunday dinner we both had
Slow Roasted Brisket of Beef it's probably THE best dinner we have had.
Staff a lovely. Nice atmosphere. Outside the pub is a lovely seating area over looking the water.
Highly recommended
This place is not to be missed. It is a beautiful quiet location and has a nice cosy feeling. The whole setting is breathtaking and the views from the pub and beer garden is amazing. Massive carpark. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of drinks and the food is top notch. Always impressed when we visit.
Pleasantly surprised. Had a drink outside and enjoyed looking across the river. Went for Sunday lunch and it was well cooked and tasty. I wish I'd had the children's portion of chicken dinner as my sister did. I had the pork and it was big. Pork, apple sauce, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, broccoli, red cabbage. My husband had the veg curry and was impressed. The raspberry chocolate cheesecake went down well too, as did apple crumble and custard. Good staff, nice atmosphere, and our favourite Picpoul wine.
Really nice little pub, good range of beers and serves really good food. Efficient polite staff, gets very busy so would recommend booking. There is a very pleasant garden especially when the tide is in. They have a reasonable size car park opposite the pub . It is well worth seeking out this place it is in the back end of nowhere which is what makes it so charming. It hasn’t been over commercialised yet, please don’t change a thing.
After what was quite a challenging weekend we came down to stay at the Wilcove Inn for a two night stay. The hosts were amazing, we ended up eating there for all meals, breakfast lunch and dinner. Food was 5*+ although our performance in the Tuesday evening quiz was below par, the service was far from the opposite. They accommodated all our needs, the great thing was how they welcomed our dog to the venue, the bathroom and room was stunning, and we were given expert advice on local towns and spots to visit. You can also fish off the jetty next door with beautiful views. We will 100% come back and thanks again to the lovely team that looked after us.
Lovely pub grub all freshly cooked. Nice position on the Tamar estuary (best when tide is in). Very dog friendly. Staff super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Love this place!!.. great food, great atmosphere and lovely setting!.. I've known about it for years!.. and just discovered it again!!.. I can't comment on the rooms, as I haven't stayed, but I'm sure it's worth a stay with Fabulous views!!.X
Fantastic pub with great food and really friendly staff even made friends with a cat! The garden overlooks the naval dockyard at Plymouth across the Tamar. Wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sun, view and hospitality!! We will definitely be back 🥰
What a find this little pub is! They have two rooms, which are spacious and each has an ensuite bath \ shower. Such a delight to soak for a while in the bath after a day walking the coast path. Good food, too and the breakfast (extra) was great. A really romantic setting right by the water. Absolutely recommended.
Warm friendly atmosphere. Right on the river, at high ride it's absolutely beautiful
Beautiful pub. Lovely food. 😍 have been before will definitely go again .
Lovely quiet stay at the Wilcove Inn. The rooms were so comfortable with lovely views. The service we received from the staff was fantastic. Thank you to all at the Wilcove Inn for making our stay so welcoming.

A very charming pub, in a superb location, it has a two tier outside space with sturdy wooden tables and benches, all over looking the inlet, and at high tide the swans and ducks come up for a look. I didn't get the opportunity to eat this time, the kitchen was closed due to a private party in the evening, but I can highly recommend the fish and chips. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, if you are in South East Cornwall, it's worth a visit .
The meal was fantastic and tasty and staff was very polite will definitely be eating there again.
A true locals treasure, off the beaten track but has really tasty food serviced up with a friendly smile 😃.
