Opens earlier than other cafes in the area. Fresh home-baked pies and pastries straight from the oven. There is a small outside area (fits about 4) overlooking a lake and seating inside. A great place for a snack. The people who run it are lovely.
A lovely little cafe,with gorgeous homemade cakes…incorporated with souvenirs and old fashioned sweet shop! Decorated in keeping with the history of slapton sands. Definitely recommend a visit!
The place was recommended, my Dad and I were there to see the Tank on display and we were hungry, the place was busy with happy looking customers, staff were nice to talk to and the food was very good, I had a BLT, inside is very well laid out and interesting with lots of nice little things to buy.
A must to visit if you are in Torcross a lovely quirky place with super friendly staff and delicious food. Amazing cream teas, lovely trinkets and old fashioned jars of sweets to buy by the qtr. Plus Devonshire pasties we took ours home. Glyn x

Lovely little cafe. The proprietor opened up 30 minutes early to accommodate me and a few cycling pals. The cafe has a D Day/WWII theme which is tastefully done. Comfy chairs, good coffee and food selection.
Really nice coffee, dog friendly and good to see they have a few vegi options so we'll be back another time for brunch!!
Me and my boyfriend recently visited with our dog and the food was amazing 😍will definitely come back again soon! The staff were lovely and friendly, and the little retro sweet shop was so cool!

Amazing bacon rolls, pasties and sausage rolls. Also tried some cake which was delicious. Decor is clean, bright and reflecting WWII so fascinating. Would thoroughly recommend. Also do a lovely takeaway service.
