Return visit for us after a 2 year absence, and we weren't disappointed. We don't live locally but had remembered a delicious meal we'd had previously so decided to have lunch here again whilst in the area on holiday. Set meal lovely and excellent value. Both the meat and fish eaters amongst us were more than happy with our steak and plaice, meals with a proper French twist. Welcoming staff too.
Loved this Bistro, great food especially the soft shell crab. Very good service and great value. This place should have been heaving but it 2as quiet. Come on locals support this great Bistro. We will be back next time we are in Exeter.
Gorgeous little restaurant. We visited back in November and it was perfect! Good beer and sensibly priced food. If you visit, make sure you have the Thai fishcakes as they are really nice.
Just popped in for breakfast. Really lovely food, coffee was nice and the waitresses we saw were friendly. Lovely location and dog friendly ( outside at least!)

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and never had a bad meal. The food is of a very high standard and I feel, very good value. Karine and her staff are very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant has a really good feel about it and the ambiance is really good. I shall be going back, and would recommend this restaurant to all.

Lunch was just lovely. My father-in-law had the pork which he said was moist and tasty, though the crackling was a bit challenging for him. The cod was perfect and the accompaniments interesting and delicious. Service couldn't have been better. It's a lovely spot to sit outside on a sunny day.
We had a delicious lunch here last Sunday (NYE). Staff were delightful and did excellent.
However, as I left the restaurant I put one foot on the wooden decking outside the front door and crashed to the floor.. It had been pouring with rain all afternoon and the wood was very slippery but you could see there used to be some sort of rubber matting on the slats but it had worn away.
I'm not posting this for any ulterior reason, just in the hopes that it will prompt the owners to step up the maintenance regime. If an older person had fallen as I did, there would definitely have been broken bones!
Lots of establishments to choose from in Topsham, but decided on this one, where it would be a first for us. Nice choice of breakfasts and a mix of eating and relaxing with a coffee inside, with outside tables if the weather allows. Well recommend.
Went today just for coffee's and was pleasantly surprised at the great customer service (especially the young male waiter) . Looked at the food menu good selection, will definitely be going back. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus.
Our favourite restaurant in Topsham! We have used them many times in the past for staff gatherings and meetings. The team are so friendly and the food is delicious - I would highly recommend this Topsham
gem. I personally can’t wait for them to reopen!
This is a hidden gem. My mum booked the restaurant for a table of 14 for my 30th; we travelled from Cardiff to enjoy a lovely meal here. We could not fault the service, the food and the wine was very reasonable for the quality provided. Can’t wait to return on our next trip to Topsham - thank you!
Very good menu, with fixed price Menu of 2 or 3 courses which is very good. Nice outdoor seating area, which even though it's 'slightly' in a car park, still offers good views over the river and countryside.
An impromptu stop for coffee and breakfast with friends. Sat outside on a sunny Sunday in April. Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Would recommend for this and the food quality too.
