During half term, we had a day out with the kids in Topsham, thus needed a pub for a no frills but tasty and affordable lunch. Our room (12) was nicely furnished with good amenities and fluffy towels. Two things detracted
1. The decor is getting very tired.
2. Its right above Smoking tables in the courtyard so no opening windows 😑
Fabulous food, freshly cooked and locally sourced. The whole place is clean and well managed. The staff are ever so friendly. It's probably the best Proper job I have ever had. I never understand why people choose national chains. The price compares favourably iron the side of the Globe

Arrived at the globe, not having booked for Sunday lunch, very busy . But the man behind the bar was most helpful, found us a table in the bar, the lunch was perfect… well done 10/10
We had a fantastic week’s stay at The Globe. We couldn’t book an Airbnb or cottage for this week and chose The Globe for its competitive pricing and dog friendliness. It was a great choice.
