A hidden gem. Super home cooked food. The Green Man is a fabulous local pub with excellent local beer (pumphouse brewery on site!), friendly locals and a warm welcome from Janet and Kevin. Gluten Free Beer and Food are excellent.
Great wee local pub, very good selection of beers on the fonts, including a couple of locally brewed offerings (literally next door, so very local)
Stayed with friends in the village this weekend and had such a fantastic time at The Green Man. It is so clear to see how much the new landlords care about the experience of the customer. The food is homemade, with very generous portions. There are a good range of drinks served with good tasty beer
Janet and Kevin provide a relaxing environment to have a drink and eat. The kids are always welcome and the food is excellent. They even off takeaway which is fantastic.
Great place, Pumphouse brewery beers are very good. We wanted to try some beers not on tap at the pub, so Janet phoned Trevor (the chairman of this community brewery) who very kindly showed us what he had, so bought a crate to drink a couple in the pub and take the rest home.
Found this place passing through on the weekend. Great pub, nice atmosphere and good food. Will definitely be going back
Warm welcome, good range of pub grub and local ales, some from the micro brewery next door. Well worth a try and it’s community owned to boot.
Splendid country pub, getting better all the time, local beers, friendly, warm fire, proper food, and a super garden view, what's not to like?!
Lovely genuine country pub. Visited on a trail hunting day and it was wonderful to see all the beautiful horses and hounds
I like this pub a lot. No frills just a great boozer. The food is good and inexpensive, and the staff and owners are really friendly. Paula and Steve work really hard to make you feel welcome. Kids have a large area in the garden to play and dogs are welcome too. A real asset to the community.
Great food, great staff, very child friendly, nothing is too much trouble for these experienced landlords.
