Went in this afternoon on the way to Heathrow and decided to come off the motorway and try and find somewhere to eat. We followed the ‘brown signs’ and were very pleased we did. We arrived a few minutes after orders for lunch had stopped, but they were happy to take our order.
The food was great, we sat in the garden which was lovely and very well kept. The staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely keep this place in mind if we are in the area again!
We found this little gem and was completely in love with the place from when we pulled up in the car park.
The staff are so friendly and the decor is beautiful too (even the garden was inviting and well looked after).
Being a family of steak lovers, this is what we all went for and the steak was out of this world. The food is made from scratch and it shows by the flavour and quality.
If you enjoy good food, this eatery is worth a visit. Just book in advance as it was soon full. This was our first visit and hopefully not our last. :)

We had a lovely meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were efficient and polite we were even given a glass of bubbly each on the house!
The food was exceptional and we ate alfresco increasing the enjoyment still further, in the warm late summer evening!
Could recommend it any higher!

This is one of my favourite places. I've been going here for years. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. We visited last night and on the way out my partner proposed to me. It was beautiful with twinkling lights in all the trees. This place now holds a very special place in my heart.

Have had two meals here recently. Both times the food has been cooked perfectly, with warm, friendly service throughout. Can recommend the sirloin steak and the fish cake starter (from last night).
Came to this lovely place yesterday and was so glad we did .. The food was amazing and the dessert to die for. I had duck for main and it was amazing. The warm brownie with salted peanut butter ice cream ... One word ... Scrumdidiliosious!

Didn't make it to dessert but the food was amazing. Staff were attentive but not in your face. We rocked up at 7.00pm with no booking but they managed to squeeze us in! Highly recommended. Not cheap but worth every penny (pound!)
This place is special, I was given a recommendation and I'm so happy I went and tried it. Delicious food, really excellent standard of service, attentive but not too much, friendly, great setting. I loved it and I'll definitely be adding The Mole Inn to my faveorites list.
Was my first time there and the meals were exceptional and staff were brilliant.Took my family there and as it was my wifes birthday the staff did their best and got a candle on her pudding as it was short notice.Lovely gesture though and they were very friendly.Will definitely visit again.
We recently held a small wedding reception here for 14 people. Jenny and her team were very accommodating for us, they'd set out the tables in the conservatory for us complete with the name cards, flowers, cake etc. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and the staff helped make our special day one to remember. Several of my clients have spoken very highly of this venue and it's easy to see why, I would definitely recommend visiting here if you're considering it. Sunday Lunch. Food was very good, staff are fantastic- very friendly and accommodating. Gardens are stunning for a lazy Sunday afternoon in the sunshine.... oh and they have a great gin selection!
The pub is beautiful, nice outside area. Parking available on site. Inside is smaller than expected, we were in a big group where in had to be split in 3 tables. The service was good, they managed to sort the group out and serve food in reasonable time. I don’t know if my expectations were high as I saw the online reviews but the food was average, good presentation but not bad taste.
The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged great seating for us, the pub is quite large but different areas are sectioned off well so it feels cosy. The selection of wines and pint drinks was very good. The sorbet was amazing, next level good. The loos were clean and I would go back
Had dinner here for my birthday, the staff were great and offered a friendly welcome. The place itself is lovely full of character. What we had to eat was amazing, maybe the best fillet steak I’ve had. Cooked perfectly nice amount of char on the outside and pillow soft in the middle. Sublime I didn’t want it to end.
Lovely meal, beautiful looking old restaurant both inside and out in the garden. The food was good and the people working there were nice. We had 3 course and it came to £50 a head (without wine) so it's a bit expensive in my mind to be a local but I'd definitely recommend it for a nice meal.

Food selection was great and they were very accommodating to my husbands dairy allergy, with lots of selection.
There was plenty of room both inside and out for tables.
There did seem some noticeable tension between staff and they were quite slow at coming over as they got busy. Had to go to the bar asking waiting for the bill for 20 minutes.
But overall very nice and we will be back again.
Lovely place to visit, with very good indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick & accurate. Staff very pleasant. Rather poor choice of ales on handpump, only saw Hooky. I thought the food was very well done, but rather expensive for fairly small portions.
Beautiful, cosy gastropub with the welcome aroma of woodsmoke from an open fire greeting you at the entrance. My meal was very rich and delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Oh... and the garden looks beautiful.
Good quality good. Went here for a birthday lunch. We pre-booked a table for 2pm and pre-ordered off the menu. On arrival we were informed the table was not available and the menus had changed. Other than all that it’s a great place. Lots of parking available and a beer garden area too.
We arrived at a busy time without a booking on a rainy day. The staff managed to find us 3 seats. Despite the busy pub, the food came quite quickly and all was cooked perfectly.

Food was good with respect to the Mole burger and the seabass, although that could have been a little hotter but we were sat outside. Dessert was not good, we both had brulee, one was OK but the other had not set properly. Additionally, we were not told that they had run out of shortbread.
After bringing this the the server's attention we were given a discount.
Nice countryside location for this classic pub/restaurant. Popular, quality but expensive. Service can be slow when busy. Nice garden with individual seating areas. Recommended but bring your wallet.
One of the best roast beef I've had. Really tender and flavourful. The pate was really tasty as well. Would definitely be coming back to try out other dishes on their menu.

We had the most wonderful meal last night. I had the Hake and I have to say it was the best meal out I have had in months. Thank you for a wonderful warm atmosphere, delicious food and wine. We will be back again soon x
