We had an 80th birthday party for my dad he loves a pint of SA brains there were about 25/30 people there of all ages. Sarah provided a buffet for us all which was a great variety, vegetarians included. My plays guitar, so was our entertainment for the night.

Had a family meal here on Thursday with a very large meal order of around 30 meals (some including starters and deserts). We preordered the food a few days before. Decent pub grub. The gammon was good quality and the chips excellent. Daily specials available such as burger Tuesday etc. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The beer garden especially looked nice on a sunny day Lots of cyclists and old regulars here having a beer. Good lunch option

Recently had starters/main meals here! The food was great. However the portly young barmaid with bun hairstyle needs glasses as I was waiting by the bar and a group of people came in and she served the first! It was a very hot day and it wasn't that busy!
