Fantastic pub and garden in a beautiful setting. Attentive staff who go the extra mile and best of all, the food is superb. Can’t fault it.
Great to see a choice of vegan food on the menu. Lovely it was too. Nice pint of ale, great atmosphere and well looked after by the staff. What’s not to like!?
We came for our farewell dinner and it was wonderful. Every course that was ordered was a decent size and tasted delicious. My husband so enjoyed the lamb shoulder. Highly recommend this place. From to Aussies from down Under.
Fantastic staff and wonderful food excellent place to go for a meal and drink.
Very friendly staff and we all enjoyed the food. Excellent ambiance and a very good wine selection.
Lovely food, chicken wrap was gorgeous with a lovely side salad with a very nice dressing. Great real ale too!!
Thanks for a great meal and great service.
After a five mile walk in the freezing cold, my friend and I were warmly welcomed. The log fire was very much appreciated. Sandwiches were fantastic and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Beautiful country pub and we will definitely be returning.
Beautiful pub and restaurant. Great location and the food really was incredible. Can't wait to visit again and enjoy a glass of vino in the garden.
We had a family meal in this lovely pub. Food was superb especially the choice - with three vegans the options were plenty. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer months and sitting in the gardens.
Excellent food and very attentive staff..would highly recommend
Lovely meal with family and friends.
The service was fantastic, they really looked after us.
Very tasty food. Great atmosphere.
Amazing scenery and surroundings, had a stroll around the public footpaths with the dog and then joined the amazingly friendly and professional staff at The Chaser Inn for one of the most delicious sunday roasts that we had in a while and a well deserved pint after the long walk. The atmosphere was great in the garden where we've had a proper sun bathing whilst waiting for the food. It's not the first time here, and it's definitely not the last. Already looking forward to the next visit ! PS. Have not rated the rooms as we didn't stay overnight, only popped in for food.
Always been a favourite place of mine as I grew up in the area and remember coming here for different family events. Lovely country pub atmosphere, staff even though run off their feet can't do enough for you. Lovely delicious food. The Chaser will always hold a special place in my heart.
Good food, efficient and friendly service prices fair for these days. Surroundings are very pleasant. Inside the atmosphere is conducive
We have been here a few times now for various ocasions.. brunch, lunch, dinner.. and the food and service was always good. Let's hope it stays that way.
There's room to improuve as it always is.. but for now is recommended.
We found this gastropub by chance on a wet and dull day having just visited Ightham Mote (highly recommend also). We were very hungry and so were delighted to be informed food was served all day as we’d arrived after 3pm. Friendly and welcoming staff greeted us. We both had excellent starters and mains with very generous portions that left us comfortably stuffed. Service was very fast. I highly recommend it.
Went to the Chaser for fathers day with the kids and Zoe (the wife) for a three course meal. It was very busy which was expected but we were greeted and well looked after by the attentive staff that always made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was brilliant with both the kids even enjoying their meals which is usually difficult with them both being fussy eaters. I had the Big Daddy Plater that was amazing with their being so much I almost couldn't finish it all with it being great value for money. The food didn't take very long to come out baring in mind how busy it was so hats off to the chefs. The day was definitely well planned out by the management with father day being a very stressful day for all pubs. Well done to all the staff at the Chaser!!! Definitely look forward to our next visit.
Absolutely the best Sunday lunch my family and I have had out for a very long time. Perfectly cooked and generous portions. And the banoffee pie to finish was amazing.
Came for afternoon lunch and drinks as a nearby event had poor options that we weren't feeling. Not from the area so it was the first place we came across en route home. Glad we stopped by as the food was excellent. Extremely busy that day and we were advised of an hour wait which we nearly decided against as we were all pretty hungry anyway. Decided to stay for a drink and then think on food. Glad we did as obviously did order anyway and it was half that time, likely because we weren't ordering from the roast menu which seemed to be a popular special for there.
Highly recommend for quality of service from all the girls working that day and compliments to the chef(s) of course, especially considering the blazing heat they were working under that weekend.
Idyllic rest point for lunch while doing the Sevenoaks Circular. Fast service, especially for a busy Sunday, and the roasts were generous and good quality. We sat in the large and comfy garden but can't wait to return in winter to try out one of the cosy inside rooms.
Lovely Sunday roast after a local walk. Very helpful and friendly staff. Dog friendly brought water for dog without being asked. Offered recommendations for desserts I had orange cheesecake which was amazing
stopped in while passing and was met at the bar with a very friendly bartender, lovely pub in the country with a stunning garden good food and unbeatable service. credit to duke. highly recommend.
The service was perfect, the food brilliant. We will go there again definitely
