The Old Firestation Tea Room - Tomintoul - Photo album

Delicious sandwiches. Made fresh. Good tea, amazing scones. A must stop if passing through. The reason there is only one tea room in town.
I love this place as it is quirky and welcoming and there is always something tasty on the go. The Leek soup was both delicious and hearty and just what we needed. Well worth a stop if you're in the area - loads of parking too and a rapid EV charger in the corner of the car park.
An extremely enjoyable spot to grab sandwiches and soup. The carrot and coriander soup was an unexpected surprise to try and was perfect. Located in a friendly village this should be on anyone's list of must stops.
We drove through Tomintoul on our way from Balmoral Castle. Great place to get a sandwich, coffee and tea. We had a bacon and egg sandwich that as simple as it sounds was wonderful. Also had the soup of the day which was broccoli and Stilton (cheese). Staff was very helpful and friendly. Seems
Always welcoming. Great stop for bikers. Friendly to all. Recommended!!
A very pleasant cafe in Tomintoul high street, with an extensive menu. This maybe seasonal opening, the cafe has good outdoor seating which is very helpful in summer months when the cafe is really busy. The staff are very friendly and happy to give local advice to tourists. The food is good quality
Excellent food, a nice record of local history and very clean. Owner/server was miserable. Anything we asked for seemed like a chore for him. It was a shame as the food was exceptional.
Amazing food, exceptionally friendly staff, quirky interesting decor, stunning backdrop. Love it
Egg and Cheese roll to hold us over between towns. Absolutely hot the spot and very friendly atmosphere to top it off!
A brillant place to stop and relax for a while! Coffee, food and service excellent!!
We stopped in this lovely place for a cup of tea & a scone. EV Charger (50kW) in the adjacent public carpark.
Friendly folks and place, nice cakes but limited selection of coffees unfortunately.
Great place to take a break and grab a quick lunch at a good price.
Never pass it always pop in nice welcome with friendly faces
The old Fire Station in Tomintoul. It's the first time I've been here. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't know it existed and had never heard of it before. The hot chocolate is superb. Lots of old Fire Service memorabilia hanging of the walls ... tee shirts from Fire Services in other countries. Only ha
Cosy Tearoom with great food, would recommend
