Only stopped for a drink and sat in a lovely beer garden. Inside looked lovely ie bar and restaurant. Friendly staff . Will definitely return and perhaps have some food next time. Bar prices very reasonable
What a fantastic pub! We've just moved into the village and, on our first visit to the pub, we received a very warm welcome from the locals and the landlord, Paul.
Everyone is very friendly and the bar staff deliver excellent service with a smile.
There is a good selection of well-kept ales and the Friday lunchtime food is also good. We're now waiting for the Sunday roasts to restart, when restrictions are lifted.
This is a lovely pub that we're pleased to call our local. If you're in the area, be sure to pay it a visit.
Update: The Sunday roast is superb!
Lots of reviews mention it but this is one of the friendliest pubs I’ve ever been to. Went on a Friday and had very reasonably priced food. Beer well kept too. Cash only so like going back to the 80’s (but in a good way)
Great pub. Four beers on the pumps, all great tasting beer and at very reasonably priced.
This place is The Cricketers at Goldhanger a lovely Village with a Beautiful Church and a Scenic Riverside Walk!
The Pub changed hands two years ago and is run by Vince and Diane who are very welcoming and have made a beautiful garden area at the back of the Pub and a balcony with seating at the front with an added smoking area.
The menu offers a lovely Sunday Roast and Pub Classics all cooked by Diane.
The Pub is clean and friendly with nice Ladies looks!
Just stopped in for a drink as they only offer prebooked roasts on Sundays. Pleasant friendly place, very local oriented
Very friendly pub, good beer at a good price.
