THE best Christmas shop/displays: we travel here from East Yorkshire as it's so fab!!!! Prices are always really reasonable and often much better than other garden centres and shops. Well worth a visit 🙂

The garden centre has a lot to offer everyone. The site is big with marvelous ranges of plants, garden furniture, hardware including second hand wood and much more. The cafe is great, staff are marvelous and so is the food. Also there is another part of it garden centre across the road with a lovely cafe, hardware clothes and gifts. I have added various photos showing the wide range of goods including basically a man cafe. There are alot of displays dotted around and an information centre with free leaflets on various various garden settings etc. Thanks for a very good day.

Wow, this place is huge! Not sure if there's anything garden wise you can't get here. The Farm Shop is amazing and the array of plants and flowers is vast. Well worth stopping off for a visit and a coffee!

Incredible place! Gordon Rigg Garden Centre is a paradise for gardening enthusiasts. They have an enormous selection of plants and gardening products. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to provide guidance and advice. I've discovered many rare plant species here that I couldn't find anywhere else. The farm shop also offers a variety of local products that are worth trying. It's truly a wonderful place for relaxing garden shopping and delicious treats. Highly recommended!

We chose this place to find a new Christmas tree and decorations and we were spoilt for choice. Loads of rooms with different themes for Christmas. There was also a food and drink market inside which was excellent. Spent around £165 altogether. Recommended for anyone who is looking to decorate their living room for Christmas plus don't forget they have a garden centre too!

Lovely garden centre. Really friendly staff, great set up, and competitive pricing. Keeps us returning again and again. Has a really good tea room and a farm shop - both recommended if you want to treat yourself. Find new things every time we visit.

Quite simply the best garden centre I’ve ever been to. I’m a houseplant addict, so the big houseplant section is heaven to me! The whole garden centre is really big and has everything you could need or want for your garden - thousands of plants and accessories, garden furniture and ornaments, crops/seedlings for your greenhouse, and so much more. Anyone who likes plants should go!

I have been going to this garden centre for most of my life, 50 years, I have seen it develop and change over this time. I can recommend the tea room and also a visit across the road to the mill shop and upstairs cafe, which can be accessed by stairs or a lift. We had a small carvery at £8.50 and a pork pie salad at £6.99 which I think was good value and tasted good.

Apart from the location which is lovely. The garden centre has lots to see and buy. There is a beach 🏖 area for younger children to play in and a cafe to eat in. Across the road you can buy clothes and stuff for the house 🏡 and have a meal which we did and very nice too. 👍 All worth the visit.

I couldnt help but get in the Christmas spirit after visiting Gordon Riggs today. They go all out and never disappoint on their Christmas displays. I'm also loving the Newly opened Riggs farm shop with all the local produce, I purchase a few things after tasting the delicious samples and the products are reasonably price considering the quality. There is a huge range of fresh Christmas trees, lights & decorations. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, At the check out I also received a free bag of daffodil bulbs, which was a nice surprise. There is small cafe in the store with seating area, Customer toilets to the right of the store, a large free car park and designated disabled bays at the front of the store.

Huge selection of seasonal goods, awesome displays and lots of garden centre products as well. The place is clean, tidy and well set out. My only minor observation would be to get an Epos system to speed up checkout time rather than adding each product in the till. Well worth a visit for all the family, you will not be disappointed

One of the best garden centres for indoor plants. This site is bigger than their sister branch in Rochdale.
HUGE selections of indoor plants. I often find rare species that I’ve never seen elsewhere.
Reasonable prices. Loads of parking spaces. A bit of a detour from the M62, but worth the effort.

Had a lovely day out to Gordon Rigg all your gardening needs met here. Be mindful though it can be expensive. Me and my friend had a coffee and cake at the cafe inside not at the Mill shop. Service there was fantastic all friendly staff and quick service will be going back soon 👍🏾

I have been going to this garden centre for years now. I am never disappointed in the spring and Sommer months it is packed with bedding plants, shrubs and perennial plants. A large selection of fruit trees, herbs and indoor plants. There is also a large selection of garden assesories, and anything else you need for the garden. From October onwards they have a very large display of Christmas trees and and decorations, and a massive selection of garden bulbs. They have also recently opened the farm shop which is very good. There is a very large free car park and across the road is the household, clothing, and DIY departments which are well stocked and prices as with the garden centre are very competitive. Up stairs in the household dept is the weaver's cafe with a good extensive menu, good food and a very warm welcome. All in all well worth a visit, give your self half a day to browse.

Lots of variety here, you can get lost wandering around looking all the different plants. It's really one of the best garden centres that I have been to. Loads of stuff to see and do, there is a café, farm shop and a pet shop inside. I travelled quite a way to get here and I wasn't disappointed. I especially liked the assorted ephemera in the vintage section. Huge car park, staff friendly and helpful. Ice cream van outside too. Will definitely be back.

Lovely Xmas displays. Great to see the old cars too, and lots of stalls with home made foods and crafts. Well with the trip.

Good parking, lots of products for all types of garden with helpful staff and cashiers. Went to the Rochdale one first but this one is so much better. Toilets available which are very clean and tidy.
