Stopped at the polished knob for a couple of days and was well looked after. We arrived on a Monday afternoon and was welcomed by a rock band that was playing until 5.30.There is live music every Monday afternoon. . We just had hot drinks. The staff were friendly. We went there again on sunday and they've had a refurb looks great very colourful. Landlord really friendly speaks to all his costumers.
Quite a nice quirky place, beers are good, bar staff were welcoming & decor is certainly different.
Live music judging by the stage area, although not during our visit unfortunately. Definitely recommend popping in, good atmosphere.

Great little venue, visited on Xmas Eve for some cheap drinks and live music. Comfortable seats and really, really, really dedicated glass collectors. Was cash only at the time, but assuming this isn't a regular occurrence.
Brilliant pub. Decor is fab, real ale is spot on and they have great bands on.

Good food and real ales at sensible price. Problem with kitchen at moment (Dec 2018) due to burst water mains but it should be up and running very soon I am told.
