Great curry. Tucked away in Cornholme, on the main road from Todmorden to Burnley, is the Zaika Indian restaurant. This is a small and unassuming restaurant producing great authentic curry at very reasonable prices. We love the samosa (£2.10), almost a meal in themselves! Favourite curry is Rogan Josh (£4.50), and having eaten it maybe 10 times we can confidently say it is prepared to a consistently high standard. They also make a great Peshwari Nan (£1.70). A filling and delicious 2 course meal can be for less than £10 - Highly recommended. Awarded 5 9/10's by the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. Open Tues-Sun 5:30pm-11:30pm.

This is one of the best restaurants in the whole area. The food is DELICIOUS and the people so welcoming. If you want a wonderfully satisfying meal in a warm atmosphere you'll be very happy. Well worth venturing out for! Thanks for a lovely evening 😊

What a treat! Diya is a fantastic little restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The food is amazing. Loads of vegan/veggie options. Draught and bottled beers / wines. Give it a try. You will be full!!! (The Dosa is massive!!) Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

What a meal 😍 we decided to finally bite the bullet and eat at our new local that just opened - what a treat it was. I'll skip to the conclusion straight away: I highly recommend and will be coming again! The staff are lovely and they have a phenomenal selection of food. We could already tell from the menu that their offerings were going to be authentic and we were proven right when we ate. We had two samosa chaat dishes and one masala dosa - they accidentally made a plain dosa so we obliged with little hesitation. The samosa chaat was up there with some of the best. Sometimes chaat can be quite cold or with too much tamarind sauce - this was the opposite. The chaat had fantastic texture, the right mix of flavour and it was beautifully presented. The plain dosa was the right amount of crispy and the masala dosa was just the right balance between crispy and soft. The daal on the side paired with the dosas so well and I was honestly in such a happy place! The place was designed beautifully and that was already clear from the outside. The music playlist was excellent too and we were jamming to classic Bollywood tunes! We also ordered a lemonade and a coke zero, which came 5o about 24 quid for the both of us. Really not bad for a Friday evening in this area. I actually cannot wait to explore the rest of the menu with my wife - sincerely hope that this happens soon 🙌🏼
