At the Golden Lion, the food menu is Thai, and it's absolutely delicious, very well priced, and a great choice on the menu, I would highly recommend a visit, we also thoroughly enjoyed having a drink as the atmosphere was great

Nice comfortable pub with good selection of real ales. A total bonus was the excellent Thai food served on the premises as a separate business. 👍
Great venue for events. A1 sound system. Great staff and lovely part of the world.
Pool table is more than serviceable.

A nice enough place that I managed to visit when it wasn’t busy lol — nothing to complain about, and the canal next to the pub is a nice touch 👌🏻
Nice old building, big beer selection, pleasant staff, tasty Thai food according to my pal that had his tea there and a banging sound system - unique! :-)
