Visited for Sunday brunch, its quite a drive for us to Todmorden, but definitely worth it. Love the atmosphere and the old building has lots of character. We ordered two vegan Columbian brunches and a large cafetiere of coffee. The brunch was delicious and even better was gluten free for my husband, we loved the corn arepas and the different textures and flavours. Will definitely revisit but next time for the small plates menu. By the time we left at 12.30 the place was packed, says it all really.

Yakumama is EVERYTHING! Setting, decor, ambience, music, gorgeous staff and The FOOD! Exquisite dishes with so many lovely flavours, the veggie ceviche was out of this world! We come regularly for the Sunday brunch too considering we live an hour away, I often want another for dessert ;)

The feel of the place is very nice. You can tell they have worked hard and put a lot of thought into the decor. We had the vegan brunch which unfortunately for me, I heavily disliked. I felt it was nothing but a plate of fried food, very heavy, stodgy, almost sickening. We had the vegan empanada for dessert which would of been perfect had they not put fennel in the ice cream (or somewhere). I am hoping it's just the breakfast that's heavily fried as I would like to give the rest of the menu a chance.

Absolutely incredible. Some of the best food I've ever had.
An absolute pride and honour to have this eatery in this town.
Very allergen and dietary-requirement friendly too. Excellent transparency about methods and risks in relation to this, so as a customer you can work with them to be accommodated and make the choice that is right for you - you do not feel palmed-off or suspicious like in many other places.
As someone who loves food, has allergies and has worked in service, I try to be fair but discerning about these experiences. It truly is exceptional.

Really enjoyed our visit here - staff were friendly, cocktails were wonderfully made, the menu was a little limited in options but what they made was delicious and generously portioned. We ordered 3 plates to share between 2 people and still managed to take some home!

Good food but the price sadly let's the experience down for me.

Went here with my husband - both of us eat meat. The food was fantastic! Really tasty, fresh and so full of flavour. The restaurant itself is beautiful too and the service was really good and friendly. Shame we live in Leeds but definitely worth the special trip!

Went for Sunday brunch. A lovely plate of vegetarian food. (Vegan also available). Really lovely building, fantastic staff, and a nice range of cocktails.
