I love this place ,home cooked food ,and staff very helpful and friendly ,I definitely recommend it ..
Well worth a stop if you're in the area. Reasonably priced good food and friendly atmosphere.
Excellent a few if us went as a party and everyone enjoyed it. Roast lamb was tender and plentiful. Portion size excellent. Could not find any fault whatsoever. Will definitely go again.
Has new management. Menu smaller some prices a bit higher. Lovely staff great food and service. Plus lovely dog. Recommend and will return. 😁
Went in yesterday, been a few times in the past as we like the chilled out atmosphere. We ordered cheese and onion pie and braising steak for mains and apple pie and custard and trifle for dessert. Had a beautiful meal here today, sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, hubby had the cheese and onion pie with chips and beans, he was in heaven. Service was 5* from ordering our drinks to leaving the pub. Thankyou Nancy and Barry for such a great welcome 😀
Called in after our annual Christmas decoration shopping trip. As usual the staff were very friendly & the food was great. Their homemade pies are the best. Prices are very reasonable and we will back next year.

What a lovely old pub. Friendly service and yummy home made food, what more can you ask for! Would definitely recommend the rag puddings.
