We arrived on a Tuesday evening with no reservation but were accommodated, luckily, as the restaurant was fully booked. Three of us had pies, they were superb. Beautiful rich sauce and generous portions of meat. The other meal was a beef fillet stroganoff - rich, creamy and good taste.
We have started venturing over to the pheasant, and as locals, My husband and I had a cracking roast today. Very friendly and efficient staff, great food and served promptly.
We would highly recommend this place and we will be definitely be booking a table again soon..

Lovely atmosphere, clean and tidy. Staff welcoming and attentive. I had chestnut mushrooms and garlic bread to start and the beef stroganoff for my main. Both were absolutely incredible. Will definitely be telling my friends!

Turned up on off chance, even though they were busy, they managed to find a space on a table for me. Nice welcome, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Food served promptly. I will definitely visit again
