Absolutely lovely little cafe with friendly staff. The food we had over lunch was delicious and very good. The outside area is really nicely set up with plenty of seats and shielded from most wind. It is more than pet-friendly!

Really nice, local independent coffee shop and cafe. Always welcoming and friendly, never offhand or uninterested. Inside and outside seating, dog friendly. Great coffee which is much better than the local branch of a national chain, and better priced, too. Haven't tried the food but the cake is very good, on my visits it's been more flapjacks and traybakes than proper slices of cake, but they're very good.

Went back to this place for the first time in several years - it's been Duck and Bean since 2020. It's tucked away off the high street, but definitely worth seeking out. It was quite busy too, but there is seating outside as well as in. The food is really good - delicious breakfasts and lunch options with incredible flavours. Recommend the ham hock hash for breakfast and the Monte Christo for lunch. Coffee was excellent too. Service fast and very friendly. Toilets are up some very steep stairs so not recommended if you need accessible ones - it's an old building with thick walls so I had no mobile signal inside either, but these aren't complaints - I really loved it. Will be back as often as I can!

We popped in the Duck & Bean as we were on holiday in Tiverton, we were looking for a dog friendly cafe to have a drink and a bite to eat. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and our dog was patted and the lovely ladies that worked there said hello to her and us. We were then seated and ordered our food and drinks. Everything was exceptional from the service to the quality of food and drinks. Roxy even had a browse at the doggy menu and had a sausage which she loved. Would highly recommend to all dog parents great atmosphere, service and wonderful food 🐾

I've had brunch and dinner. Both times the food has been excellent. Friendly staff. I had the el dorado cocktail which was absolutely delicious. The coffee cured salmon went well with the creamy celeriac remoulade. The porkbelly melted in the mouth. The venison casserole had a peppery kick that was very warming, perfect for the change in weather. The tahini creme brulee was perfectly cooked and the tahini was not overpowering. The tartness of the plum tarte tatin went well with the creamy ice cream. One of the best meals I've had in tiverton.

Amazing latte! Staff were lovely. Only tried a cake (which was excellent) but the lunch food looked great. Good amount of space around tables for prams but there are steps into the café and gravel out the back way so bear in mind if with littles :)
