Nicest Chips ever! All great priced as well! Owner is very nice and the chips aren't mass produced like at most chip shops. Would highly recommend if you are looking for the nicest traditional British dish.

Visited here this evening for 1st time...fish was perfect! Chips were non greasy, but a bit insipid...whacked them in hot oven for 10mins and they were much better. Good value for money

I like Friar Tucks fish & chips, but have found that sometimes the chips are the best I've tasted, this is more personal preference than something like for example foul tasting chips.
