Lovely coffee and caramel slice, in a beautiful setting. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Visited again today, 17/7/23. I enjoyed a lovely sausage sandwich and coffee, sitting in the garden in the sunshine. A special mention to the waitress who served me, she was new and still learning the job, however she was really polite, welcoming and cheerful. She seems a real asset to the business. Enjoyed a lovely return 112ml motorcycle ride to here. One of my favourites. Very friendly service, lovely latte, and teacake in a lovely setting.

We went for my Wife and her Twin Sisters Birthday. With her Daughter and Boyfriend. We all had a Cream Tea β˜•. One of the Diners were Celiac so had to be careful what to order. The Table was cleaned down properly to be sure everything was ok. Also the food was gluten free. We really enjoyed what we had.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜. Then followed by Ice Creams 🍦🍨all round well nearly. We also had a good look around in the Shops. And bought some nice things for Home. The Staff and Waitresses were Fantastic and Professional πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜. Look Forward to Calling Again. Thank You Very Much Once Again.πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ‘

Excellent place here.. lovely for meals.... and the shop is delightful. Great to find something different πŸ‘Œ.. things can be quite expensive though, but if you love shopping, you will not be disappointed.. all sorts of wonderful things to buy. Great choice.

Always quite good. We usually go for take away coffee and cake now as we live close by. It’s good enough to go routinely. The breakfasts and service is also good if you get a chance. If the weather is nice I recommend sitting outside as the peacocks are a good draw and I recommend it just for that. Dogs are allowed outside and there’s a little forest and River Exe walk just between here and wedding venue behind if you get a chance. The shop is also quite good for small gifts.

Beautiful setting with the mill, really fabulous food...we only needed a quick bite so had the homemade soup (tomato & courgette) and the vegan sausage goulash. We are meat eaters but just fancied something different and were happy we did as both tasted great and very reasonablely priced. Our server, Robin, was so attentive and helpful. The shop next door is glorious, it was lovely to see the peacock strutting around the courtyard, the wishing well needs a bit of attention...we wished for that ;)

Stopped off here again en-route to our holiday in Devon. Great choice of reasonably priced food. It was busy when we were there but the waiting staff all had smiles on their faces and did a Stirling job. A great place to eat !!

The shop is set on several floors and has a great selection of giftware. It would be an ideal place when searching for gifts - cookware, clothes, themed gifts, etc. The bistro is well presented with a good selection of cakes. And the menu looked good. Nice touch is to provide a large pot of hot water to go with the tea. Toilets are very decent. Sadly the water-wheel and wishing-well are extremely run down. I doubt that the waterwheel has turned in many years, and the wishing well full of dirty water. Go for the shopping and the food and drinks - and Bickliegh Mill need to decide what they're going to do with the water-wheel and wishing-well.......

Absolutely stunning establishment! The service is perfectly friendly and on point, the food was divine and the Riviera Room we are staying in is cosy , luxurious and had a warm but modern charm to it . I would highly recommend a delightful Devon experience at the Bickley Mill.

A firm favourite of mine is Bickleigh Mill, a family run restaurant housed in former Mill (my mother in law used to work in it in the 60's). They have been producing some excellent value food for years, and we visited a while back to take advantage of their Sunday menu. Best roast potatoes I've had eating out for a very long time. Crisp and flavourful, the whole meal was a success. There was a small incident with some milk, but this didn't overshadow our experience and will be returning for their Sunday roasts as soon as I can. On a previous occasion the manager printed out some photos of the mill during it's working life for my mother-in-law. It was a very special visit as it was not long after my father in law passed away. The food is consistent, good value and the staff are incredibly accommodating.

Very good ploughman's but 1 cherry tomato and 3 very small pieces of bell pepper seemed a bit mean for over Β£12. But what there was, was very nice. The Mill shop is very well stocked and the Peacock was so cheeky. Beautiful place very well kept.

Lots of (pricey but lovely) gift options, decent restaurant with good service. And nice scenery if you fancy a walk.
