The Compasses Inn - Tisbury - Photo album

My wife and I were on a long walk through the countryside and The Compasses was a suggested lunch stop, and we were so glad it was! The historic pub is lovely and cozy inside with beautiful outdoor space too. We were greeted by the friendly gentlemen working the bar and offered glasses of water righ
Husband and I went for lunch. Fabulous old building. Friendly welcome. Attentive but not in-your-face service. The food was very good, wines also good. In gorgeous countryside, although that does mean it's a little out of the way. Nevertheless it's worth the drive as the scenery on the way is lovely
This is the second time that me and my partner have visited The Compasses and on both Sundays the drinks, food and service have been outstanding. We cannot fault the roast beef, everything about the dish was perfect! And you really do not mind paying the prices for the quality of food you receive. A
The Compass Inn was my favourite stay in England. It is adorable! The room came with complimentary homemade cookies. The included breakfast was incredibly generous portions and very high quality. The dinner there was outstanding - we tried various salads, roasts and pudding. All fantastic. Highly re
Fantastic Sunday roast. Generous portion sizes with nice thick slices of meat. Everything on the plate tasted fantastic. Proper old village pub, aesthetically pleasing to look at and be in. Busy day with lots of patrons but the staff were always on top of things and more than happy to help. Defo wil
My sister and I went for lunch today and I am so glad we did! The pub itself is beautiful, you can’t get more of a traditional countryside pub and the garden is gorgeous with stunning views. The food was superb, I would go as far as to say the meal I had was one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had a
I've regularly visited this pub: the beers are well kept and the food is good. Covered seating outside makes the most of the countryside in Summer. While in winter the low ceilings and open fires make for a warm welcome.
Very rural Inn, in the middle of nowhere. Excellent clean and modern rooms, nice and cozy bar and Restaurant area, lovely outside seating, free parking. Loved the place and it's efficiency. Note breakfast starts at 9 am
Lovely food at the restaurant. Steak was great although slightly less salty would have make even more perfect. 2 adults and a child meal with drinks will set you back over £100 so it's a little bit more pricey than anticipated.
Lovely cosy old pub with amazing views, great friendly service, good food, clean comfortable rooms. Will definitely return.
