We had booked a table for 4 people and even on a Thursday it was very busy when we arrived. Given poppadoms and salad before ordering. A bit of a wait for food as it is cooked fresh. Food was plentiful and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were all different. Highly recommended.

It's been a long time since we were last here and we had good time. On another day I think it would have been even better. I can't say that the starters were the best but given the size of the main courses I wouldn't be ordering any on my next visit. The mains were very good but I did have to ask for a couple of chillies to add to my rather tame tawa, however the wife loved her balti. Special praise for our three sides of chunky chips, garlic sag fried rice and a garlic & coriander nan. All were excellent in fact the best I have had in a long time. Service was a bit slow and the room could have been warmer but all was forgiven when we had the bill, it was great value for the money. Of course being unlicensed does help although some may think it was licensed according to the sign. Update, a week later we visited again and I am pleased to say that we experienced none of the negative elements of our first visit. Update, and now it's gone and changed its name to Zahra Spice. I am not sure why as all else is the same. Well worth a look.

Met up with some old acquaintances for a catch up over a curry. Place was fairly empty so not much atmosphere. Food was very good and service great with pleasant , jokey serving staff. Non licensed so bring your own tipple Will definitely be back to sample other items on the menu.

Absolute little gem of a place. Finally got around to trying this place and wasn't disappointed. Very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Regulars are treated like family. Service very good and food lovely. Huge portions at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend. Thank you Sam

Been coming to this place for over 10 years. It is the best. The staff are very friendly great with kids and always happy to help especially Sam. The price is really good aswel for how good the food is. After moving out of the area we have tried lots of curry houses and found akbars in Birmingham to be lush but we visited Zahra spice Friday and you just can’t beat this one it’s bang on! Their chicken tikka masala I can’t find anywhere else that does it like this with the yoghurt and the fried rice is to a T. Also the parking ain’t to bad around here. Also the spicy red onions that come with the Popadoms I could order loads of!!

I'm really critical of curry houses but been using these awhile now vindaloo is on point... Chips are big fat things, like I wanna be that fat type chips... Never actually eaten in there always have as takeaway I will go in here make it a weekly curry night out... I think having 3 curry houses on the same street you need to keep the level high so hopefully these do that. But at the minute I can't complain

Outstanding food and service, great value for money too. What really is the best is the customer service, they make you feel like royalty If you're not sure what to have, ask them to recommend something, you won't go wrong Update. If I was to add five stars for everytime I ate at this place, royal dignitaries would be dining her every week, and do they should. This place has NEVER failed me

The quality and portions of the meals are excellent. The service is fantastic and the lads go out their way to ensure that every one is satisfied with the service they provide. The staff always greet us by our personal names whether we’re dining in or having a take away. You have to have chips with your meal as this place somehow manages to combine Black Country style chips with the eastern flavour. This is the best Indian restaurant you will find in the Black Country.

Best curry in Tipton, My family have been coming here for years. I moved away from Tipton 20 years ago and lived all over the place, but still one of the best curry’s. I always make it a must to get a curry from Sam when I’m back visiting family.
