This is such a lovely, friendly place. My husband and I visit fairly regularly. The staff are welcoming, and the fresh home cooked food is amazing. Well worth a visit.
A group of us just popped in to this remote pub on the off-chance for a quick drink. I would have loved to try the beer but I knew I'd be driving later. However lovely chatty service from the landlord and a good atmosphere, so I loved it.
Tucked away a little jewel, in an area of outstanding beauty so don't be surprised if you just drive by as you look at around you with all that catches your eye. The food was wonderful and the beverage was right for that dark Rainy Night.
It's a gorgeous old pub! They makehome made cakes too - my coffee walnut was good. Nice staff too. Very enthusiastic about the cakes. Which I loved. Genuine 5*****
Came here all the way from Ireland and I have to say, fantastic. Pure joy. Staff were absolutely lovely and comedy gold. No food left on the plate either, that good. Happily go again. Cheers guys
Went to the fountain yesterday was abit dubious of going as as it's a very old building but was pleasantly surprised. The food was out of this world! The fresh bread, the fresh produce all locally produced was far better than any pub I've been too in a long time. Got chatting to the t owner and his
Really nice genuine pub. Honest and friendly landlord. Very reasonably priced. Good Sunday options for vegans and vegetarians. Can't fault the food, very genuine and well made. Was sceptical at first but I'm glad we chose it as a stop on our walk!
We had lunch at the Fountain Inn and were very impressed with the quality of the food and service we received. Everything was delicious and served in a friendly and timely manner.
Great food and beer, really friendly staff now open 12pm from Tuesday's . What's not to like
The fountain Inn is somewhat remote, but offers the luxury of a full on gastro pub. The food was very good, and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much.
