Just had a wonderful tapas vegan lunch here. It’s now called “Vega” and is a vegan restaurant. Really excellent food, and I’m not actually vegan! We had hummus, tapenade, onion bhajis, garlic bread, olives, stuffed vine leaves and so on. Selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.

We were looking for seafood (not including fish and chips) in Cornwall which isn't as easy to find as you might think. We rung up to reserve and the lady was very friendly and mentioned opening times etc. We were greeted by Annie and Denise who are brilliant hostesses. We had the lobster which was well priced and delicious. Everything is cooked from scratch so be prepared to wait but it's worth it. The side portion of chips were huge so definitely enough to share and we shared a dessert called Annie's mess which was so naughty with clotted cream ice cream. This is my favourite type of place. Non assuming, just two people passionate about their business. The lobster is delivered fresh that day. Also they have a gluten free menu. Wonderful.
