Lovely place nice food, and the best disabled toilet by far, would definitely stop and eat again.

I love this place so much! Friendly staff and service mixed with great food and drink. My Grandparents are regulars to this pub and it's easy to understand why! As for the Burns Night celebrations.....excellent!!!!

We’ve had dinner at Rose & Crown yesterday and the ladies who helped/served us were very friendly! The food was really delicious; and the cook came to our table for a very friendly word as our son asked what he could order whilst having some allergies. He enjoyed his dinner and had the best dessert ever �!

If you're on westdown camp and need to get away from the scoffhouse, go grab a pint and a pizza from here. It's quality! Just don't be expecting the atmosphere of your usual village cruiser. It's respectable and nice there, so treat it as such

I was randomly in the area with some friends and dropped in for a drink. The bar lady was very welcoming and the chef came out with amazing pasta and pulled pork. We were made to feel soo welcome! Thoroughly recommend!
The owner was busy taking down the Christmas decorations but let us in for coffee whilst waiting to attending a funeral at the church close by. After the funeral we returned for pizza and drinks. Owner was very friendly and accomodating. The freshly made, to order, pizzas were delicious. Highly recommended
We stopped her a a drink. I was really surprised how beautiful decorated the inside is. Wasn't what I was expecting at all. Really beautiful pub. Friendly pub dog. We didn't get to eat there but what was cooking smelt beautiful. Certainly will be back to eat.

An incredible pub/Italian from start to finish. Out of this world food, cooked with love and passion; fantastic bar staff with a special mention to Sharon and Louise; beautifully decorated and relaxing yet luxurious outdoor area. It's an absolute blessing to have such a venue on our doorstep. One of the finest dining experiences available in the UK.
Really lovely decor immaculate (even toilets) food top quality and very authentic. Staff very good and also very authentic to the extent of we had to converse in Italian. Well worth a visit and deffo try a pizza. Might be first real pizza you have ever had. Excellent
This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks we've returned. We can't resist it! It's not just that the food is totally delicious but it's the whole experience. No written menu or wine list but a dish is suggested and when that's finished another is offered until you can't manage any more. The ingredients are discussed and if there is anything you don't like another is happily offered. We've been offered different wine each time and all very good. We are delighted such an amazing place has arrived on our doorstep. We've found all the staff very welcoming including the lovely little dog. I'm pleased I didn't see the 'unfriendly' reviews before we went as they would have put me off and we would have missed out on something special.

Rose and Crown is now open as an upmarket restaurant, with a public bar.
The restaurant itself the food quality is very good, but if you don't speak Italian it is difficult to understand fully what you are going to eat, as this is a menu that Ricardo the owner decides what is to be presented! With what appeared to be little choice, however, the dishes presented were very good bar one. The ambience is very pleasant.
The pizzas are very good, the selection of ales in the bar is very poor, and overpriced.

The Maestro created a beautify prepared ravioli in a rich tomato sauce followed by tiramisu to die for.
I am not surprised that they are regularly booked out so plan ahead for an unforgettable,traditional feast.
On our next visit, either here or at the Richmond restaurant, we will be having the Taster Menu.
