I was couple times there. Really nice and authentic british pub. If you want a great range glass of beer you definitely will find it there. The pub is very old, the interior has been kept as much as possible. Good prices and wild variety of food are a bonus. Always welcomed staff. Highly recommend!
A stunning location for a well-known pub I visited as a youngster, We met a very good friend here for Sunday Lunch and it was an incredible experience... Living overseas it's been many years since visiting and was well worth the travel... Service, Ambience and food were absolutely outstanding !! Hi
We have been past this place a number of times and have been very busy each time. However, on this occasion, they were quiet, so we popped in for the first time. Inside is very quaint, but you do have to watch your head as the beams coming across are very low. The food was great, full of flavour and
Exemplary customer service that serves you like a warm hug from a loved one.
Was greeted warmly by the staff, and they try to make you as comfortable as possible. Stuart and Milla were friendly, accommodating - and because it was the Euro Women’s Final, Stuart even went as far as to set up a TV jus
Great ribeye steak. Best pub steak in year's. Beers I tap are fresh tasting too.
Overall it's a well looked after place, that knows what good food is.
Nice service too.
Perfect for shorties.
Really really lovely. The service was so friendly and fun, and the food was great. Very cute old pub with a more modern dining room out the back. Highly recommended
Lovely pub to visit for lunch, dinner or sunday lunch! Food is plenty and tasty with good menu! Staff are very friendly, attentive and polite. Nice atmosphere inside, cozy and outside is lovely when warm. Really recommend the food.
A lovely pub with absolutely excellent service. Such a lovely lady served us and we enjoyed the food and drink. Very dog friendly too.
Quite expensive but I do enjoy the Greyhound. Over £5 for a pint but the staff are friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere. A grade 2 listed building dating back to 17th Century just oozing character!......👍
Lovely place. Great service with friendly staff. Excellent food - pie of the day was delicious ! Would definitely go again.
Majestic little pub with superb level for detail
Lovely country pub with good quality, rustic pub food, nice friendly servers and a beautiful location.
I stopped here on the way back from playing tennis in Pangbourne. The building is lovely and has a thatched roof and sits in front of a village green with benches for people to sit outside on the
Great Food.superb service. BUT very sad to see that Jo public are not supporting this lovely venue. Saturday evening get off the settee and get out for a meal at a lovely pub.
Really tasty food in a lovely pub. On Mondays and Tuesdays they only make burgers and pizzas. On the other days of the week you can access the full pub menu. Just be aware that there isn't a lot of parking.
We had a very good Mother’s Day dinner here for March 2019. I had roast lamb shoulder, excellent with loads of veg, yorkie and gravy, mum’s beef was very good too, dad’s fishcake was great and my wife’s baked Camembert was superb. Desserts also great, great service, good drinks choice at the bar.
We have been here a couple of times while working in the local area. The beer and food is cheaper than most places in neighbouring Pangbourne. The service is great, the atmosphere is spot on for what they offer. We hope to return a few more times before we leave the area.
I have driven past this pub for around 10 years, always thinking I will pop in one day. Visited last Thursday. Great pub with a relaxed and welcoming feel to it. Good selection of non alcohol beers (t-total since 27th Dec....an extension to Dry January!) looking to go back very soon and sample the m
