Wanted to stop somewhere on a road trip. Came across this by accident but have saved this as a food and drink stop for any future journeys. Service super friendly and helpful. Warm welcome. Very friendly and attentive staff. We came for a wedding and they bent over backwards to help us with check- in, luggage, preparation etc. rooms comfortable and very clean. excellent showers with good power. Breakfast very yummy. thank you
We stopped off at The Fox & Goat on our way back home to Bristol, after a long journey/flight, in the hope of better food than services food and we were not disappointed!!!
We didn't pre book but as it was c.15.00 on a Tuesday afternoon we took a chance and ended up with the whole restaurant to ours
Visited for early evening dinner on a Saturday night, sat in the garden. Brilliant attentive, friendly service. Food really impressed with something for everyone. I had the Confit Pork Belly which was really excellent! Fries were really good too. Allowed us to take a birthday cake and brought it out

Excellent service with lots of staff.
I had the roast pork but sadly there was only one bit of it an inch long, which was measly.
The roast beef was pleasantly rare which pleased my family member.
Stayed 4 nights and ate there every night! Really comfortable and clean room and not at all noisy even though it was on the street side. Very friendly staff and great tasting food and drinks. Will definitely be booking again next year if they’ll have me 😊
