Lovely location, quiet house in Nice gardens. Decor a bit tired and dated but staff were friendly and everywhere was clean. Good food and comfy beds.

Well , what can I say .
Stayed for three nights , greeted on arrival and shown my room .
Location is just perfect .
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
Now , we get to the food …. Absolute dining experience, fantastic from the steak Which was cooked to perfection, chicken pie which was homemade and gorgeous and don’t even get me started on the curry Fabulous ♥️
Hosts were amazing , nothing too much trouble .

Beautiful location, lovley building and comfortable beds. The dinner and breakfast menus are great. I'd go there just for dinner if I was down that area more often. Staff are a bit cold and blunt but it's not the end of the world. I'd stay here again.
Beautiful place .the rooms are good with very comfortable beds, although some rooms are better than others.. The breakfast's are amazing and the staff are very kind. The gardens are just lovely .I love it here
It’s such a cosy and spacious house!
We arrived around 10pm and the owner opened the bar so we could still have a drink even though they close at 8pm. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. The owner is so so kind and everything he does is done with such care.
We all (4 people) had an English breakfast and they were all soo tasty :)
The shower also has a lot of power so for those with thick hair it’s perfect 👌🏼

Beautiful elegant great breakfast and a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat or get away.
The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was just perfect.
Was not serving evening meals at the time so do check, if not there are pubs nearby.
Would happily go again and reccomend
Lovely place but very dated...we had my mothers wake there and the food was lovely. Staff were attentive.
I booked in and was late to check in. Everything was ready the room was very clean and warm. Great value for money. The receptionist was most helpful I would definitely make this my favourite hotel in the surrounding are. I have stayed at all of them and this one has a very nice family feeling. They care about the guests which will always make the guest happy. Thank you all for a nice weekend. I Highly recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel. The staff we're very professional and well mannered. The rooms were clean and tidy and the shower areas were more than adequate.
I would've given hotel five stars if the beds in the twin were a little bigger...even for single beds, they felt a little small especially positioned right against the walls in the cabins.

We love this place. It's secluded, old school, and smells like forest and pine. Really quaint country charm.
The bar is adorable, and has board games to play. The staff are friendly and helpful. The junior suites are spacious with lounges and bedrooms, and have full length baths in the larger-than-most-hotel bathrooms. The rooms are warm, and clean.
The hotel could use a little updating in terms of decor - it looks a little outdated aestheically, and there was no room service when we were there (possibly a covid restriction?), but for the prices and size of rooms, I cant fault the hotel in many other ways. You may want to bring some drinks for the evening - the hotel is quite secluded and there isn't a way to get drinks once the bar closes.
Apart from that, it's great for a quiet weekend away. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, linen is fresh, and the place has a lovely, secluded country feel. We've visited twice now, and will definitely be back! The room prices are fair too, and there is free WiFi. They even have toilet paper art! :p
We haven't tried the log cabins yet but they look fantastic!
