Came in for a late lunch, and it was excellent. Many GF and VG options (gluten free & vegan). Various levels of spicey, medium was good enough for us. Recommend either the Kottu or the Dallo Devil squid.
Good food. Had the king prawn curry and really enjoyed the spices. Had to order an extra parotha as the curry was too good to be left. Lots of vegetarian options on their menu. Owner was very friendly as well. Would recommend a visit. The prices are a little on the higher side, but still well worth it.
Also, as you can see from the pic, my plate and cutlery was clean, not sure what the review someone else had posted was all about.
This place is a hidden gem, the food makes you feel like you are in another country. They prepare the food on the moment so, might not be your best option if you’re in a hurry, although I must say, it is really worth it!
The staff have been nothing but polite to my family and I whenever we go in for lunch. I've always enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere along with it. I have had a positive experience with every visit. Without a doubt my favourite place to eat!
A hidden gem in Thurso. Food was absolutely delicious. Great friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit. Its also worth nothing, if you are getting a spicy dish you are offered mild, medium or hot spices. And if you have a boring friend they can have British cuisine!
What an absolute gem of a find! The food was, literally, out of this world - so, so very tasty, such fresh flavours, all cooked to order, so be prepared to wait a little bit you would not get this standard of food otherwise. Sri Lankan specialities - cannot explain how much wed recommend it - plenty of veggie and vegan options and loads of "English" dishes too. Lovely couple who own it - really wish them the best in their venture - it's cafe style decor, so quite casual and you may need to look for it, as it's above a newsagent.
We went 2 nights running it was so good and would go back tomorrow if we weren't going back to Bolton!
As Sri Lankan impressed with home taste food from the owner who is the main Chef. Impressed with his dedication to provide the home fresh cooking food to customers compare to many so called Indian restaturants in Scotland who pre cook every thing for quick serve than fresh cooking (Cost effective as well) .
Also saw few negative comments by some who said rude owner (seems too many negative comments within last few days with similar lines seems fishy!! ) and asked him as he said they were rude with his staff and hence asked them to leave . Lovely guy . If you are looking for authentic Sri lankan / South Indian food in this region highly recommend it
I'm eating here right now. Wife and I were passing through looking for a quick bite to eat. Food was quick, service courteous and I did not see anything valid from the negative reviews.
Ts Cafe is a nice little spot in a quiet town.
Wonderful food - great mix between British and Sri Lankan cuisine. We loved the pizza and lamb curry. The pompadom was also a tasty starter. The atmosphere is developing, but the music was good and the service was very helpful and friendly.
Fantastic Sri Lankan food! The Kottu with jackfruit is excellent.
Plenty veggie/vegan options, which is why we came.
Veggie burger & baby Mac & cheese were polished off by hubby & baby!
