Thurso Community Cafe - Thurso - Photo album

Just one of the most amazing places ever. Food was excellent and all provided for a donation of your choice. Great selection. And so wonderful to see a very warm welcome extended to everyone. An absolute gem.
Great concept for a cafe. The staff are fabulous and very welcoming. Food is great with plenty to choose from, with some great homemade cakes. More towns need something like this.
Very child friendly with a good selection of toys to keep toddlers occupied while drinking. Interior decour is amazing, creating a lovely relaxed ambiance, and the baby changing facities / toilets were excellent given it's size. We only had time for coffee and cake but both were delicious and I woul
Friendly and well situated with a lovely ethos. Great cake. Nice cross section of people from young to old. If you need to chat, you can signal that with a blue pebble. Not wonderfully vegan-friendly, but the positives make up for that.
Had alovely chat ourside with a gentleman who explained about the Community Cafe and about the OAP 'Thursday Cafe/Club' that is run each week; to gather some of the more 'mature of years and experince' menbers of Thurso community together. Thank you for your time and genrosity to each other.
What an asset to Thurso! Located next to the river, there is seating inside and outside. The cafe, run by volunteers, serves excellent light bites, cakes and drinks. Having said that, my husband had the 'light breakfast', which we thought was actually plenty, even for his healthy appetite! My friend
Not been recently so can't say much about it, it's right by the river, and there's a fresh fish shop close by has all sorts.
Great cafe on the harbour at Thurso. Very friendly staff and customers. Great bacon bap and coffee. It’s a community run cafe and donations welcome for the food and coffee. Amazing. This place will be a godsend in the current crisis.
Very nice place, big support!
Lovely friendly atmosphere. Fantastic community project. Credit to all involved, especially the volunteers running the joint. If you’re passing by, stop in and support. I’ll be back.
Great community cafe, good range of food on the menu. Great service by the volunteers who man the cafe. All this for as little or as much you want to pay for your food. The lady from Cote D'Ivoire was brilliant gave us good service with a bit of fun. Thanks.
Amazing customer service, delicious food, clean and comforting cafe would highly recommend! And it's all a charity cafe you pay what you want! Wish I still stayed up here I would definitely volunteer! Keep it up guys!
Great place doing great things for the community.
What a fabulous place. Great idea, great location and the food was delicious. Thank you for your warm welcome would highly recommend but check opening times as not open every day.
Love this place! Best paninis I've had anywhere, MASSIVE mugs of hot chocolate, proper slabs of cake and good service. Perched right beside the surf, you can just see the sea but atmosphere and decor is lovely. Never disappoints!
had some amazing chocolate cake and a perfect cup of tea. the people volunteering were so kind and fun!! highly recommend this wonderful place!!!
Can't beat the fruit scones! Arrive 15 minutes after opening and they are freshly warm from the oven. Awesome, jam and butter. Good coffee and tea too. Brilliant.
Lovely cosy place! This is a community cafe run by volunteers and funded by donations. There's a children's play area, fairy lights and art work on the walls. Good quality home-made food. Views of the sea and Thurso Castle.
