The Village Inn - Thurlestone - Photo album

A nice pub with friendly staff. The interior is well decorated and cozy. The main menu didn't have loads of options but there were 4 mains on the specials menu. There was nothing wrong with our visit but it wasn't anything super special. It's a reliable place and easy to book online.
I’ve been coming to thurlestone for over 35 years and to this pub which has seen good and bad years. Been visiting for the last 10 days and wow what a difference, the food has dramatically improved, the beer lines are better kept, the service was exceptional and to top it off with Becca finding us a
Really great pub with superb service. The food is excellent and we always like it here. So why the 4 stars? Well it’s a tad overpriced and the menu is a little limited with no pasta dishes. Also the service is so slick you almost feel you’re on a conveyer belt. But it’s still a must to visit if you’
We took my Mom for her 80th birthday and had a wonderful time. We ate inside but you can also eat outside. You need a reservation because it is very popular. The staff is great! The food is excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had a great time.
Excellent pub, decor and pints were great, plus that it was actually open unlike most of the pubs in the south hams. Stacks of parking. Only downside was the Bar lady with the bob haircut was a wet wipe and very rude.
We went for Sunday roast. All well cooked but only like warm to us. The Inn was very busy though so may give them another try when next around there for a holiday.
We actually went to the Thurlestone Hotel in The Bar for a Fantastic Ham and Cheese Sandwich it was freshly sliced bread and top quality Ham and Cheese, Rebecca Served us and the service was excellent, my wife had a Harvey’s Bristol Cream Sherry and I had a Peroni Lager, we loved the New Decor and t
Went for lunch walking from Thurlestone Sands, food excellent at this price point vs others in the area. Fish pie tasty and burger best I can't remember in a while. Deserts a little expensive but good. Covid one way system in place and all staff with visors, good show. 👍
Very clean, great facilities for children. Had a small lunch but didnt feel rushed, hardly a wait for food and very good portions
We called at the Village Inn yesterday. We had a lovely welcome and the menu was great, even for me, i need a gluten free meal. We both chose the gammon. It was amazing, beautifully presented and very well cooked. Could not fault it. Thank you
Love the Village Inn's cosy character and tasty food. Good value, well cooked pub staples but splashed out on £28 wild bass which was gorgeous. Puds full on too.
Just back having had a fabulous Sunday Lunch. Absolutely fantastic. Starter, mains and desert all so tasty and well presented. Would definitely recommend and visit again. And dog friendly.
First visit to the area. Had a lovely Sunday lunch, well cooked, hot and tasty. Eat here also Monday evening, our party of 7 all very happy. We found the service excellent. We will definitely be returning on our next visit.
Visited the Village Inn on Sunday lunchtime.(pre-book online). Social distancing was very well implemented and the staff were very friendly, explaining all the new requirements. Full menu was available and I had the sea trout which was very well prepared. Highly recommended.
