My partner & I visited this restaurant for the first time and we were impressed!! We expected a walk up and self serve buffet but it was a set buffet menu during the week and we loved it! I preferred it a lot more than the self service. The food was delicious and the menu had everything you would have wanted. We were even told they will make anything to just write it on the paper. We went on a quieter day so the staff were very attentive, but not overwhelming to the point they were on top of you. It was such a lovely meal and experience. We were then shown around by Sharn who showed up upstairs for potential hires. Lovely, friendly and memorable guy. We will definitely be returning, it was great!
First class restaurant, best in the area. We got a warm welcome at the door, attentive service, and excellent food with a good selection.

Wife surprised me for my 60th birthday in January. All the family were waiting for us and we had an amazing night. The staff was friendly and attentive.
My first drink I asked for at the bar was a whisky and ginger, the barmen told me they had no ginger ale but the manager said give me 2 minutes and we will. He sent someone out to a local store and got bottles in. He then poured me a very large whisky and ginger and said it was on the house for the inconvenience. Nice touch.
The starters were served and then we ate from the buffet, the food was very nice, hot, well cooked and tasty. We knew that there was a disco later but at no time did we feel rushed.
The DJ was excellent and we had some requests played and danced the night away.
Thoroughly enjoyed my evening and big thank you to the staff.
Amazing food had the buffet well worth it. However there is only one man dealing with all transactions so when you ask for the bill be prepared to wait. We ended up going to the bar as was waiting 30 minutes and still no bill asked various people. Its a shame because the food was really good.
We absolutely love The Tandoori Parlour! It was the only place our daughter wanted to eat for her 13th birthday so we were more than happy to oblige. The staff are so lovely, can't do enough for you. They make you feel special even if the restaurant busy. The food is incredible! Fresh, tasty, boiling hot, huge amount of choice and always something for everyone. We have been going there for a few years now and it is by far our favourite.

Lovely restaurant, went with family to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday.
What a lovely time we had.
Food was delicious and was plentiful.
They have a dance floor and DJ once the buffet is cleared away about 9.30 until late and was enjoyed by all of us.
The staff were very nice and helpful and the manager was especially lovely, very cheerful and couldn't do enough to keep us happy. He made sure everyone was looked after and catered for ...my husband who is Coeliac and my little Granddaughter who has a dairy and gluten allergy, he was very reassuring letting us know what could be eaten and always with a smile and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.
Would definitely recommend this place...will be going again!
A quick treat on a Thursday for an Indian with my son. Had no idea what to order so asked the staff for a recommendation. Best way to it as they brought food out that you would never order yourself. Amazing food. Would highly recommend.

I give this Restaurant 5 stars 🌟 I highly recommend Tandoori Parlour to everyone. I've been here multiple times over the last 15 years. The restaurant's decor is stunningly beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious. But the one thing that stands out the most is how the staff treat you, they cater for all your needs with a smile, great sence of humour & very helpful manner. If your looking for a brilliant night to celebrate with friends or family go the Tandoori Parlour you won't be dissapointed!

My brothers 80th birthday bash was held here on Saturday evening. I had never been here before, I live in Dorset but had travelled up for the occasion. It was a fantastic evening, the food was amazing and plentiful, the DJ played some really good music that the whole family could enjoy. Only problem, my feet were sore from dancing all night! A truly enjoyable experience. Loved it and wish I lived closer to do it all again. Superb venue for a family party.

This is a huge Indian restaurant where they offer good food from a buffet or you can order from their menu. They have a resident DJ playing music and a small central dance floor. The food from the buffet is good and of course you can go up as many times as you like for the set price. The prices are fair and in line with other local restaurants and Mo and Shah (the two brothers that manage this establishment) are extremely friendly and seem to know most of their customers by name. They also have a license for alcohol and do serve the genuine spirits and soft drinks, not budget brands that in my opinion taste awful. I would recommend this restaurant. 👍🙂
