Probably the best pub in northants. Landlord is one of the most human people I have met. Not the usual problems of local pubs . im open in saying im mentally unwell. I was shown love in this pub, not blamed or kicked out. Offered a lift home. I hope this landlady takes over all the pubs in the town im from, in time for my kids, when they're olenough to go out. Went with my wife to check the place out as I drive past every day. Reasonable price for a decent burger, seating was comfortable and the place looks nice. The portion was far more than we could manage but the burger itself was clearly a decent quality meat, the chips were done right and not soggy and plenty of salad to go with it.
Having a couple of pints listening to the background music ...then bloody football takes over ...best thing about it no one is watching it or listening to it ....sad times
My favourite pub. As a local, I can call this pub my family's pub.
The service is beyond excellent. The food is delicious!
The pistachio ice cream is to die for!
This is the perfect place for a lovely family meal or just a few drinks (maybe more than a few).
The atmosphere is really lovely!
Dad & Son pint night. Sat under a large TV screen we enjoyed a pint, chat and kept an eye (almost inevitably) on the game.
Monday night and the Fox was pretty busy with people enjoying their beer and watching the football.
My son tells me this is a 'blokes' pub but it had good beers on and a lively atmosphere on our first visit. They obviously do food but we didn't eat, so beyond seeing a menu promo on the table, I can't comment.
Good pub type food and cheap beer.two punts for a fiver, what's not to like

Great staff a very friendly pub frequented by a stream of regulars who enjoy the facilities and the best prices in Thrapston. Love it.
The new licencee has made fantastic improvements to both bar areas to include soft seating and new furnishing. Gone is the pool table!
Bar snacks now served and are very well cooked and presented.
Always a great selection of real ales and top end lagers which are kept in terrific condition.
Live music in the beer garden is always a bonus.
If you have not been to the Fox for a while then revisit and be prepared to be very pleasantly surprised.

What a brilliant pub! Great staff, Cheap beer and live music Saturday night. We had an excellent night with two great bands entertaining us. 😀😀

Good friendly local pub , went to see a band there tonight . Staff quick and friendly though my ribs & back tell me the locals wanted to get past quicker than I could move with my back turned !
Great place friendly staff seen Let There B/DC there a few times (AC/DC tribute band) and were absolutely brilliant
