First time into the newly taken over Bens Chippy. A bit of a wait for 2 large fish and a medium chips, however the wait was absolutely worth it. Thought we'd try a meal from here now it's open again and pleased we did. The regular fish was a big portion and the batter was lovely and crispy, the fish was really tasty and of good quality , and the chips were nicely cooked. Best of all, the service is great and the new staff really friendly.

Bens Chippy is the best fish and chip shop is Thrapston and the surrounding area. In over 10 years we have only ever had first class fish and chips. The food is reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly. Thoroughly recommend this fish and chip shop in Thrapston.

By far the best chippy I've ever been to. The spam and corn beef fritters are to die for. Highly recommend. The visit is made even more pleasent by the service you receive from Terry and the team. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Very happy customer.
Gorgeous fish and chips. Best chippy around! Staff are wonderful and helpful. The staff get to know you after a while, and know your regulars after you've visited about three times (Ben always knows my regular is medium chips, chicken nuggets and gravy. They are always amazing and I actually get sad
