Ordered a take-away Roast as im 3 weeks post surgery and didn’t feel like cooking. Well!!!! If THIS is the food you get from them, boxed and delivered I cannot wait to be well enough to visit in person!! Well worth the cost, delicious and extremely generous portions. I will be ordering a smaller one
Had a fantastic lamb roast and my daughter had a beef burger. She is a fussy eater but she demolished this burger. Nice pub great food.

Very nice place to meet your friends, have a good meal and chat over a drink or two. Very clean and friendly place. Nice to see proper table linen for a change. The only downer was an unwelcome 10% service charge. I only noticed after I paid and left a decent tip. Won't catch me again.
The food is very good, we went for a Sunday roast. We were given the sweet menu and wanted another drink but were left waiting for 20 mins, so when we did manage to catch a member of staff, we paid up and left. I just think there is not enough staff, Piers was run off his feet.

Lovely pub. Friendly staff, good food reasonably priced. Choice of sitting in the restaurant area (with proper tablecloths !), in the pub area or outside in the large garden with a children's play area.

Food a bit slow as over 20 of us, however it came hot to the table and was lovely. Definitely will go back. Nice garden out the back for the better weather. Staff friendly and very helpful. I had Gammon ham it was delicious
Had lovely Sunday roast & dessert. Was in a big group of 14 & we all got our food within a few mins of each other. Roast beef, Yorkshire etc... Roast choices were pork, lamb, chicken or beef.
