Lovely little bar/restaurant. Went for breakfast. Staff were great. At first thought the prices were a little high. (I'm still getting used to everything going up in price everywhere). But try the food. It's worth every penny. I had the peppered smoked mackerel and hubby had cheese and onion omelette. Delicious. I'm definitely going back. Parking is the opposite. The also do decaffeinated coffee. I had latte which was good.
We visited this evening for a last minute dinner with my family. Food was amazing, portions a great size and the customer service brilliant. We really enjoyed the whole experience and can’t wait to return soon. Thank you.

Had a meal here this evening - first time we've been here - ine if our party was coeliac & the food was almost all GF friendly. It was delicious & the staff very friendly & attentive. The waiter even gave one of us a complimentary bottle of the ketchup, as we had commented how nice it was as a gluten-free product. We enjoyed it so much we are going back next weekend.

Nice to have a small fridge in the room. Manageress Courtney, was wonderfully helpful, friendly and professional. Good breakfast. A real nice stay.
Fantastic lunch here on our way to Lifehouse Spa (which was far less exceptional). Lovely service and food. Nice pub garden and good variety of food.
I visited The Bell Inn on a Sunday afternoon after booking ahead, which I'd definitely recommend as it seems like the kind of place that won't have availability for those without reservations. The service was fantastic, and there is a reasonable selection of drinks available. The food was FANTASTIC. My family all had the Sunday roast, which was very well received, whereas I had the gyros, and that was great too. The dessert of banana chocolate cake changed my life, and I'm going back whenever I'm next in Thorpe!

We were a group of 14, and whilst we had pre ordered our meals they were served freshly prepared and promptly to all of us. Organisation and service was excellent and food delicious. We are a small writing group who meet up at The Bell each month. The staff are always welcoming and make sure everything is served to our liking. Cannot fault this establishment. Breakfasts are delicious and the parking so easy. Highly recommend.

Food absolutely amazing..service and attention to detail leaves alot to be desired.. from having to wave down staff for service to grubby menus and general lack of attention, 10/10 for the chef, alot of room for improvement from front house though.

We stayed at The Bell Inn whilst visiting family in the area and it was lovely!! The rooms were bright, clean and very comfortable with very tasteful decor. On arrival Courtney checked us in and made us feel very welcome and showed us around. She was so friendly and had a great sense of humour. All the staff were warm and friendly.
Our evening meal was delicious (I had the shrimp and then halibut) Really good menu and quality food! To top off the perfect stay, breakfast the next morning did not disappoint either. I would not hesitate to recommend The Bell Inn to my friends and family and look forward to staying again next year. Thank you for a lovely stay!
