Wonderful food and service. Atmosphere is great too. Music is good, but not too invasive. Waiting staff are polite and fast. One of my favourite restaurants. Cannot recommend this place enough. Highly recommend the braised pork belly. Great meal!

Since moving into the area 18 months ago we have tried many local restaurants but this is without doubt our favourite…We have eaten here many times and the standard of the food ,which is excellent, has never slipped….The interior is a centuries old building, that offers a warm homely relaxed atmosphere,Service is prompt and efficient and the dishes from a small menu, lovely. Some restaurants overwhelm you with large portions and huge menus, but Bakers Arms have got both just right,, I would not say it is cheap,BUT if you want a proper dining experience with top quality produce cooked to perfection then this is for you….

One of our very favourite dining pubs. Located in a lovely part of Leicestershire, Tim and Kate are both friendly and efficient, they have a great young team front of house and good chefs behind. The menu is good straightforward fare for a great dining pub and it’s well prepared and doesn’t disappoint. So that’s why it’s a favourite!

Very nice location in a picturesque village. Small typical country pub setting, open fire & very cosy inside. Food is to a very high standard with an excellent roast, wide choice of Sunday meals drawn up on the black board. Good choice of starters & deserts too. Well priced given the quality of the food. Good choice of wines, beers & spirits. Children not allowed.

The food was delicious, unfortunately the meat was cold by the time the veg came out and we had to remind the staff we needed the veg. The barman could not hide his look of shock and disappointment as I asked only for water to drink: sorry, but that is what I like to drink, but I was disappointed that there was no ice in the water, either in my glass ordered from the bar or in the jug for the table. There was ice in the gin and tonic and the coke, so they did have it. If it had all come out at the same time it and there was ice in the water (the weather was 28c so there should have been ice) would have been 5 stars rather than 4. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this as a fantastic place to eat (no children allowed) and will go back, if they allow me to after being negative.

We’ve been here a number of times across a 20 year period. Always been brilliant food and lovely hosts! Lovely that the kids are now old enough to join us for dinner too (have no issues with the age limit!). Went tonight and was as yummy as always! Thank you!

This is not the typical pub. It's a quint village restaurant. There is a parking area in the back. The big surprise was the sign on the door.( No kids )so no families. The welcome was very warming. Theres a small but nice wine collection. The service was steady. I really liked the goat flan served with a small salad with balsamic vinegar. My main course was belly of pork. Some of the Best I have ever eaten. Afterwards the dessert selection. Worth saving room for. Now again the main does change regularly. So if tonight is anything to go by. Everyone ENJOY.
