Bricklayers Arms - Thornton - Photo album

Park here and walked around the reservoir before calling in for a drink. Five Everards beer on offer, plus others. Would like to call back for Sunday lunch.
Popped in late on a Sunday afternoon for a snack, fantastic hospitality - everything you could wish for from a pub and nothing too much trouble. My wife is coeliac and even though it was later and we weren't spending a fortune they made a special order gluten free cauliflower cheese that was, witho
Revisit after 20+ years (I moved to the coast) and very little has changed. Food quality and quantity was excellent and the service was spot on. The staff are attentive without being invasive which is one of the reasons The Bricklayers Arms will be a favourite eating out location once again.
Reasonably priced for what you got. The plate was small, but for lunch it was fine. The chicken burger was disappointing, it looked lost in the bun and just tasted cheap, sorry. The sandwiches coming out looked much tastier, next time I'm ordering one. The chips were cooked to perfection. We shared
Sunday lunch, absolutely beautiful, really lovely home cooked food. The home made desserts are a must, cheesecakes and banoffie are divine .
This is a great pub for lunch or for evening meals staff and owner are lovely people food is amazing car parking is good but expect no spaces on busy days prices are reasonable. But for bigger meals obviously you will pay a bit extra. Toilets are clean bar is clean hand sanitiser is provided. All
Such a lovely place. We stayed In the carpark in our motorhomes. We had the most gorgeous meal in a beautiful atmosphere. Staff were lovely. This bar and restaurant is the cleanest and cosiest We have been in a long time. If we wanted to complain about anything, there is absolutely nothing to compl
Sunday lunch one of the best we've ever had. Delicious. Very good value. Loved the 5 fresh veg as well as the meat and carbs.
Stopped by chance for lunch and we had great meals. I had hunters chicken and my friend had the quiche special. Both meals were excellent. We had cheesecake to follow which we really enjoyed. We will definitely visit this pub again.
Good place for Sunday lunch especially for me when you live on your own and can't be bothered to cook a Sunday lunch for one, and also my dog can come too
A traditional village pub offering great home cooked food at sensible prices. Popular with ramblers who take advantage of the many walking trails around the nearby reservoir, and locals alike. The homemade soup is thoroughly recommended. Three real ales were available but alas I couldn't sample them
Was lovely, staff very helpful friendly and all-round what you expect when you go I to a new pub. Not a fan of the low ceilings but as I'm 6'11 I come to expect issues in nice old pubs. Clean and friendly next time we will try the food.
Lovely pub, classic pub vibes. Beer kept well, goes down a treat. Friendly bar staff and the food smells great. I will be coming back to try something off the menu.
Lovely little country pub with a great beer garden.
Cute pub great food 100% reccomend! We were looking for somewhere we hadn't been before and a couple of mates reccomend it, didn't disappoint!
Lovely traditional pub, serving homemade food, and a friendly atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and the locals welcoming. There is a pleasant garden space, and an adequate car park. It's ideally placed for a walk around Thornton Reservoir, and it has a private path for customers connecting to
Lovely pub lunch after visiting the reservoir. Friendly hosts and locals, definitely worth dropping in for a pint and a bite, great value for money.
