Beans was always my dad's priority when we went to Cleveleys growing up, dad is no longer with us but if we know we can get up from Wigan at weekend we ring our order through then we know we won't get there and they're sold out 😊

What a lovely bakery. Haven’t given in to the temptation of the modern day business. Everything is fresh and done in a traditional way. They even do amazing vegan pies now. The ladies are delightful. A total gem 💎
I have been eating meat and potato pies from J L Beans ever since I was a child. My Nana used to live in Thornton and we would make regular trips to Cleveleys for pies and custards.

In my honest opinion, they do the best pies in the area, and certainly worth trying a couple. they also offer a range of breads, cakes and confectionery but I only go for the pies
