Not been in for a couple of years. Definitely improved. We really enjoyed the mixed grill and scampi and granddaughter munched her way through a big burger and fries cooked well and nice and hot.Staff nice and friendly especially Saskia Will definitely be going again well done keep up the good work.
We had a lovely experience start to finish.
Great food, and lovely staff who all took really good care of us, our dog, and our friend's child.
They were so lovely about turning the music down for my neurodiverse ears.
There was good range of dietary requirements provision for our friends.
It was the best roast beef we've ever had on a carvery, at least 8 types of yummy veg, 3 types of spud and lots of crackling!
And the football was on at a pleasant volume, so Mr was happy too.
We'll be back :)
Visited a few months ago after recent revamp. Often appears to be menu items unavailable and was same again this visit. Had selection of small plates but the quality of these seems to have fallen again, particularly presentation wise, lacking any dressing and appearing "thrown" onto the plate. Decor is pleasant and clean. For a Saturday evening service was a bit slow even though not particularly busy. Overall a little disappointed particularly as we had taken visitors. Don't drop the ball.
Good menu and carvery. Fantastic cakes and ice cream. Staff are helpful and friendly. Good menu if you don't want the carvery. Carvery has choice of small, medium and large plates and you buy a carvery ticket plus drinks at the bar before queuing for carvery. Make sure that you leave room for the cakes if you just can't fit it in or just want to buy to eat later they will give you a takeaway box.
Good food and ale. I recommend the fish and chips. Nice family pub/restaurant with sports bar. Beer is Holts and is kept well. staff friendly and helpful. Clean toilets. service a bit slow but it was a busy period - think about reserving a table if there are a few of you dining.
A couple of lovely surprises on the menu, but even the "pub classics" are of a quality higher than expected. Delicious, piping hot, good portion sizes. Decent beers, good service too.
Had a diamond wedding celebration family carvery . Great place to meet up as the eight of us were able to chat . Cant go wrong with roast for any age 😂
Helpful friendly staff... lovely food plentiful and tasty. Came away totally satisfied Glad we visited , encouraged by experience from The Imperial Southport earlier in year .Chain has its food and customer service spot on ..
Well done !!
Lovely place to have a quiet meal, overlooked by a well preserved windmill.
Great choice of food, carvery and sweets plus ice creams friendly atmosphere and service great value for money all our family party enjoyed food , sweets and drinks and a lovely walk round March Mill Village 😀
Went for a carvery with some friends, great selection of food and it was really tasty and good quality! Also you cannot leave without being tempted with a cakeaway. The cakes are monstrous and are absolutely amazing (well the carrot cake is) love it here! :)
First time visiting this place, but I am very satisfied with everything. Nice familiar place, brilliant service, and amazing food.
I definitely recommend this place.
Was nice we had a table of 8 booked friendly will definitely go back I had carvey omgoodness so much nicer than Toby carvey would definitely recommend how ever could do with wheel chair access as there 2 /3 steps may not seem much but I wouldn't b going down in a wheelchair xxx I don't no how much per person we spent xx
Best carvery for miles. Cooked and seasoned to perfection unlike served up slop in other places. Wonderful friendly staff. Dog friendly to the point it is a human friendly dog pub/restaurant.
Much better carvery than last time I visited. Really enjoyed it.
